Rwanda is famous as “the land of a thousand hills” since it has many tourist attractions. The green country’s landscapes are truly incredible. In the country’s north there are dense tropical forests and spectacular volcanoes while the rest of the country is dominated by gentle valleys and hills, turbulent rivers and calm lakes. Rwanda has a vast variety of wildlife and also has the richest bird life of Africa.

Culture of Rwanda Rwandan Culture and its richness can be seen in the vast range of fine crafts. This range comprises of basketry, pottery, jewelry, painting, metalwork, wood carving, etc. Rwanda’s Impala orchestra and the National Ballet add a great amount of luster to the cultural life of the country.

Tourist Attractions in Rwanda Rwanda is an Africa’s mountainous land which is split by rift valley and dominated by a range of mountain which traverses from north to south. The chief areas of attraction in the country are : -

These include gorilla trekking done at Parc des Volcans, safaris at A'Kagera National Park, climbing at Virunga Volcanoes etc. the rich wildlife at A’Kagera National Park is also a popular attrction amongst people which encompasses of zebras, lions, antelopes, buffalo, leopards, hippos, apes, crested herons, impala, cormorants, giraffes, elands, fish eagles, elephants and warthogs.
