Gauteng the cosmopolitan city of South Africa is the smallest province of SA with the capital city of Johannesburg. This land of Gold as it is commonly referred to as is the commercial and entertainment hub of the southern Africa. The capital city of Gauteng is the most important financial and business district in South Africa. Jozi as it is shortly referred to as is the home to some of the most sophisticated and elite people of South Africa. The city is headed upwards with barrage skyscrapers that function as landmarks throughout Johannesburg, particularly Sandton City's pyramid-style rooftop. Sandton further offers mind blowing destinations like : Atholl is an up market suburb in Johannesburg, located in the trendy and elite Sandton, home to lavish hotels, art galleries as well as world class restaurants and business centers etc. Bryanston is an upper class residential suburb of Johannesburg which acts as a home to a number of spectacular entertainment facilities, shopping malls as well as a few world class restaurants and coffee shops. √ Mandela Square, Sandton The Nelson Mandela Square has a six meter bronze statue which is surrounded by world-class hotels and restaurants and the popular Sandton City Shopping Centre is adjacent to the Mandela Square. The land has significant old buildings and museums spread across the captivating view of lavender flowered trees. These purple colored flowers have lead to its name as Jacaranda City. Randburg has over 32 suburbs, most of them residential complexes for the elites. It a perfect shopping destination filled with many family friendly entertainment facilities and parks. Randburg is well known for its plethora of shopping centers and entertainment areas and the famous Lion Park. Midrand is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery and enviable weather. It is captured between the two mountain ranges, the Magaliesberg and the Witwatersberg, which, when combined with the Skeerpoort and Crocodile River valleys, creates beautiful and interesting hikes, rock climbs etc. Dinokeng reflects the old ways of life that includes three dams, a Museum and an ancient village to see. Moreover, Dinokeng is one of the country's prime bird watching areas and famous in terms of the diversity of species.
