Transportation

Sydney has a large and well run Government public transport system. Mostly the locals prefer to commute by car through the system of roads and motorways. There are excellent train and bus networks that cover all the areas of the city and are the main modes for the tourists to travel around. Taking a City Circle train, the Monorail or walking is the best way of seeing city attractions, while there are ferries available all around which are not expensive. You can also hire a taxi during your stay in Sydney, but they are little expensive but the most comfortable to travel by.

Getting Around : The Kingsford Smith Airport is the main international and domestic airport of Sydney. It daily operates several international as well as domestic flights. Reaching the city by air is the best choice as it is fast and convenient. There are several inter-state buses available also which are cheap and comfortable. You can travel by these buses which connect main cities of the country to Sydney.

Sydney is a shopper's paradise as it offers a unique and comprehensive shopping experience. The city has plenty shopping complexes and up-markets near the Pitt Street Mall, Market Street and King Street.
