This beautiful mountain must be one of the least climbed peaks in the Cordillera Real. The best way to climb it is by its south-east face. Get a private 4x4 to Farm LLoco LLoconi ($us 200 one way) and walk uphill by a valley on the left side of the farm. From the pass you'll have a great view over Chachacoma's south-east face, go downhill and turn to the left in order to reach Lake Leche Khota, camp there. Next day move uphill, try to get as near as possible to the glacier.
