Geography : The physical structure of Chad is mostly that of a wide basin and mountain ranges. Sudanese Savanna, Sahelian Belt and the Sahara Desert form the three district zones of Chad. The highest point of the landscape of Chad is marked by the volcano of Emi Koussi. The Chari and Logone are the major rivers of Chad.

Climate : The three district zones of Chad are marked by the difference of rainfall which they witness. The annual precipitation of the Sahara is below 50 mm, of Sahelian Belt is 300 mm to 600 mm and that of the Sudanese Savanna is over 900 mm.

Tourist Attractions : The wilderness of Chad is its main tourist attraction. The Zakouma National Park and the facilities for hunting which is provided in Chad attract most of the travelers.
