Rituals

Every Muslim family is expected to take a healthy animal (cow, sheep or camel) and sacrifice it in the name of God. The flesh of the scarified animal is distributed in two-third and one-third proportion. Two-third part is kept by the family while the other part is distributed amongst the poor. Muhammadans consider this an occasion of offending Hindu feeling by sacrificing cow. This way Muslims acknowledge the greatness of Almighty or Allah.
