Azhimala Beach South of Kovalam is about 20 km (30 minutes in a taxi) from Trivandrum. Taxis can charge around 700-800 rupees to get to Kovalam. When asked where you want to go, say Azhimala Beach, Chowara, South of Kovalam, In an Auto-Rickshaw 350 - 370 rupees is a fair price, avoid going above 370 rupees. If you go by public bus from Trivandrum to Azhimala Beach by Poovar Bus you only pay 20 Rps. for the half hour trip. Buses to Trivandrum can also be caught from Azhimala Junction as well as Ambassador Taxis and Autos to pretty much anywhere, We are arrange pick up on request.
