About Anantnag

Anantnag is a magnificent place located in the Indian state of J&K. Digging into its etymology, 'Ananta' means infinite in Sanskrit and 'Nag' means snake that is another name for the Sheshanag, the seat of Lord Vishnu. It is also listed among the oldest settlements of the human habilitation that dates back 5000 years ago.
