Chamera Lake
The Himalayan terrain is replete with lakes, rivers and waterfalls. Almost at every bent of the road you will encounter a waterfall or Beas with its many sub tributaries seems to travel along with you wherever you are traveling in Himachal. The perennial glaciers which have their base in the higher altitude feed these lakes and rivers. Chamera Lake situated in the Chamba district is actually a reservoir which is constructed on the river Ravi.
The Chamera Hydel Electric Project is one of the main hydel projects of Himachal Pradesh and the whole state is benefited likewise. The lake is well served by a network of roads which makes human communication possible throughout the area.

Khajjiar Lake
At an height of 1900 metres in district Chamba, 16 k.m. from Dalhousue and 25 k.m. from Chamba. Fed by tiny streams, this little lake lies at in the centre of large Khajjiar glade. The glade and the lake are held sacred to Khajjinag- after whom the place is named. Khajjiar has thick forest of the Kalatope sanctury surrounding its soft green grass.

Manimahesh Lake
At an altitude of 4080 metres in district Chamba, 32 k.m. from Bharmaur. Held sacred to Lord Shiva this lake has in the Bundhil valley at the foot of Manimahesh ranges. The peaks of Manimahesh Kailash is regarded as one of the mythical abodes of Shiva. This is the venue of annual Manimahesh yatra. .
