This museum is the oldest museum present in the state. Colonel Sir Swinton Jacob designed the building of the museum and it is situated in the midst of Ram Niwas Bagh. The museum was constructed in the year 1876, during the period when King Edward VII, the Prince of Wales visited India. The period was opened for public in the year 1886.

    Namaste Holiday was highly recommended by a friend from England. We were delighted with all the arrangements Dinesh Kumar Gaur made for our sight seeing tour of Rajasthan and our onward travel requirements. Essentially he arranged a car and driver to take us ever we wished to visit in Jaipur, and Agra and arranged our onward travel,one group back to Delhi and one on to Lucknow. The cars and drivers were excellent and Bajrang Singh Ji was particularly helpful. Dinesh also arranged a guide in Jaipur for the Janta Mantra and the city Palace who was very good. Overall the arrangements made our trip to Rajasthan and onto Lucknow very easy. Would recommend unreservedly. ...more

    This review is on behalf of my father & mother in law’s. They had a wonderful experience of trip booking with Chitari travels. The trip package was for Rajasthan and it covered nearly the whole of the Rajasthan. Hotel, food and bus management was very proper. The food they were cooking and serving never repeated. Bus driver, cooking team and particularly Manager Mr. Ram Deshmukh were polite and friendly during the whole trip. ...more
