Tamiya is more beautiful than Panchmarhi and is totally unvisited by tourists. The Sunset point at Tamiya is where one can sit for hours and enjoy the setting sun. Any other thing cannot match this experience. One is bound to be lost in the scintillating beauty of the Satpura hills here. Overlooking the Narmada valley, Tamia is a picturesque resort on the Satpura ranges. From the Tamia rest house, the view of the Dudhi plateau from 330 metres of sheer overhanging cliffs is one of the most spectacular anywhere South of the Vindhyas. The stay at almost a century old government rest house and watching the natural beauty of the Satpura hills gives a feeling that there is nothing than the hills in this world. One is bound to be lost in the scintillating beauty of the hills here. Tamiya has a good and low budget hotels. The PWD rest house and the forest department guesthouse have good accommodation facilities. One can hire Jeeps from Pachmarhi but there are private and government bus services for Tamiya.
