Chilika Lake is a famous water body in the Indian state of Odisha. This lake flows through the districts of Puri, Ganjam, and Khurda. It is a large brackish water lagoon in the Indian subcontinent and one of the most important wetlands in the world. It offers shelter to a variety of avifauna.
