| About Srikakulam: | Situated at the north-eastern part of the Andhra Pradesh state, Srikakulam is the headquarters of the Srikakulam district. According to the 2006 census, Srikakulam town has a population of nearly 109,666. Telugu is the main language of the Srikakulam town – which is located at the bank of Nagavali River. Srikakulam shares the common boundary with the eastern state of the Indian subcontinent named as Orissa. Srikakulam, an agricultural society is located at the height of 32 feet above the sea level. 'Chicacole' was an ancient name of Srikakulam which was called by britishers.
