Kathmandu - Gangtok - Martam Village - Ravangla - Tashiding - Yuksam - Pemayangtse - Rinchenpong - Jorethang

Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 - Arrive Kathmandu

Transfer to hotel.

Day 2 - Gangtok to Teesta valley

Fly in to Bhadrapur, drive to Gangtok via Siligure. It takes five hours to reach Gangtok through the Teesta valley. Overnight Hotel.

Day 3 - Gangtok to Martam Village

Bike from Gangtok to Martam Village (1363 m). Visit the Rumtek Monastery en route. Hotel accommodation.

Day 4 - Martam Village to Temi Tea garden

The day starts with a downhill ride to Sirwani Bridge (350 m) over the Teesta River, followed by an uphill stretch to the Temi Tea garden (1448 m). Lodge accommodation.

Day 5 - Temi Tea garden to Ravangla

A short days bike ride to Ravangla (2040 m) via Damthang (2051 m). There is time in the afternoon to explore the Ralang Monastery. Lodge accommodation.

Day 6 - Ravangla to Tashiding

A gentle morning's ride, mainly downhill to Legship (520 m) followed by uphill to the campsite at Tashiding (1470 m). Camp accommodation.

Day 7 - Tashiding to Yuksam

The day starts with an early morning visit to Tashiding monastery by foot. The rest of the day is spent biking Yuksam, the historical hamlet of Sikkim. Should have time for a trip to Dubdi monastery on foot. Hotel accommodation.

Day 8 - Yuksam to Pemayangtse

A gradual uphill ride to Pemayangtse (2085 m). Hotel accommodation for the night.

Day 9 - Pemayanstse to Rinchenpong (Bike) : Distance 45 kms

Descend to Dentam and a gradual climb ending with a down hill or rather straight ride to Rinchenpong.Overnight at Rinchenpong Village Resort.

Day 10 - Rinchenpong to Jorethang(Bike) : Distance 33 kms

A downhill ride amongst the ancient villages and countryside of the western Sikkim and downhill ride to reach Jorethang. Overnight in lodges.

Day 11 - Drive from Jorethang to Bhardrapur

A 5 hr drive to Bhadrapur Airport to catch the return flight to Kathmandu for your next destination. O/N
