Many have enjoyed riding there bikes during monsoon in slushy dirt road. In every time there is different fun and feeling.
The Mountain bikes available with us durable in toughest road condition and available for hire or for days package. A repair support and all kinds of logistics are provided in our package. The 18-speed mountain bikes are transported to the location where you want to start your ride, be it after trekking or rafting. Mountain biking is Sikkim pursuit for a clean and eco friendly ride. Exploring Sikkim on Mountain bikes is an exciting way to enjoy your holiday. The landscape, wilderness, the country side offers a interesting challenge to the mountain bikers who can feel the typical culture & tradition & unique lifestyle of Sikkimese people.

- Yak & Yeti Travels can provide 18- speed mountain bikes -(tested on Gurudongmar Expedition) if needed so to all the mountain bikers.
- A support team with vehicle will be provided for any assistance, repairs, guiding & to transport extra luggage of the mountain bikers.
- We can provide a mountain biker guide who will ride with other bikers ( if needed so ) if booked ahead in advance.
- Accomodation, guide, meals, permits (when ever applicable) & other services are provided by Yak & Yeti Travels.
- Yak & Yeti Travels will have atleast two extra mountain bikes on support in case of breakdown.
- Other accessories such as helmet, signal flags or services like videography can be arranged.
Our team is the first in the world to reach Gurudongmar Lake(17,700 ft), in North Sikkim on 18 speed mountain bikes during the \\\"Pre- Khardungla Mountain bike Expedition to Gurudongmar\\\" in 1997. Infact, we are the only one to start and practice this section of adventure activity in Sikkim. With our deep interest & experience in mountain biking, we have started operating for the travellers/mountain bikers who wants to experience Sikkim on mountain bikes.
Day Wise Breakup
Day 1 -
Arrive Bagdogra Airport/meeting/assistance & drive to Gangtok/Check in hotel/Stay over night.
Day 2 -
A day in Gangtok visiting various places of tourist interest including famous Rumtek monastry.
Day 3 -
Ride mountain bike from Gangtok via Temi tea Garden & arrive Ravangla. Stay over night at hotel or tents.
Day 4 -
Ride - From Ravangla to Tashiding. Stay O/N at Tashiding.
Day 5 -
A morning short hike to Tashiding Monastry & return to hotel/camp & ride from Tashiding to Yuksam. O/N at Yuksam.
Day 6 -
Visit Norbugang Chorten in the morning ride to Khechoperi Lake from Yuksam. O.N in lodge/tent at Khechoperi village.
Day 7 -
Visit Khechoperi lake in the morning & ride from Khechoperi to Pemayangtse. O.N at Pemayangtse.
Day 8 -
Visit Pemayangtse monastery in the morning & ride to Jorethang. Stay O/N at Jorethang.
Day 9 -
Drive to Bagdogra/Darjeeling/or further destination from Jorethang & drop OR take an extension trekking tour or any other tour. (optional).
