Day 1 - Arrive Delhi Arrive New Delhi. Assistance on arrival by our local representative & later transfer to the hotel. Later day free for city sightseeing visiting the Qutub Minar ( Tower of Victory ), India gate ( War Memorial ). Lakshminarayan Temple ( a modern Hindu temple ), drive past the President’s House, Parliament House and the secretariat buildings. Also visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, The Jama Masjid and drive past the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 - Delhi – Jaipur (268 KMS) Departure in the morning for a half-day tour of Sahajahanabad, now known as Old Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid - the largest mosque of India. Drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk before leaving for Jaipur. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 3 - In Jaipur Morning - half-day excursion to Amber Fort, the ancient Capital of the state until 1728. Enjoy the Elephant ride up to the hill on which the Fort is situated. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory, Jaimahal (Look at the beautiful mirror work and intricate inlay work) and the Temple of Goddess Kali. Afternoon- Half-day city sightseeing tour visiting Maharaja’s City Palace and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds through the rose - pink residential and business areas of Jaipur. Evening will be free for your shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 - Jaipur – Agra (232 KMS) Morning – start for Agra, en route visit the old city at Fatehpur Sikri(40 KMS from Agra) built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 who abandoned it, just after 15 years due to the scarcity of water. Visit the graceful buildings – The panch Mahal, Anup Talab,Diwan-e- Khas, Tomb of the holy saint Salim Chisti, Buland Darwaza and other important palaces where one experiences not only the architectural brilliance but also its perfect fusion. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 - Agra – Delhi (203 KMS) In the morning, visit Agra Fort built by Akbar and later extended by Jahangir and Shah Jahan. En route to Delhi, halt at Sikandra, the tomb of Emperor Akbar that has crystalised Akbar’s religious tolerance in the architecture that has blended both Hindu and Islamic architectural uniqueness.
