Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 - Reception & Welcome to Bharmour

Bharmour is also popular because of its proximity with Manimahesh Lake, Manimahesh Kailash and Chaurasi (84) ancient temples, which are reflecting the glorious past of this hidden town. Bharmour is also known as the Abode of Shiva as there are numerous temples dedicated to Lord Shiva in and nearby regions The whole region around Bharmour is considered to be under the control of Lord Shiva, hence is also known as the Shiva Bhumi. This place besides being an aesthetic and scenic beauty is also spiritual in essence. After reception and welcome drink we take the troop to the Hotel for some rest. In evening we take you to 84 Chaurasi ancient Temples for evening Aarti then back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 2 - Bharmour - Brahmani Temple - Bharmour (6 Kms. Trek)

Early in the morning after taking breakfast & packed lunch troop will move to the Brahmani temple. Brahmani Mata temple complex is at the top of the ridge, three kilometers away from the Bharmour. The place is mainly known for Goddess Brahmani Mata. Every visitor firstly takes bath in Brahmani’s holy pool before Manimahesh Lake. and will enjoy the beauty of Bharmour town from the top of the ridge, a trek of 3 Kms.s and 2 hours will reach you at Brahmani Temple through village Malkauta. After holy dip in pool and passing some time lunch will be provided to the troop. After lunch troop will move to Bhim Godda and Ghararu to watch more natural and scenic beauty of Bharmour. In evening after spending the whole day at Brahmani and Ghararu return back to Bharmour in evening.

Day 3 - Bharmour - Hadsar - Dhancho (14 Kms. by Taxi & 6 Kms. Trek)

Bharmour to Hadsar is 14 Kms.s straight trail joined with road. Early in the morning after breakfast troop will move to the Hadsar Village through taxi. And will enjoy the beauty of village, Shiva Temple. From Hadsar actual trek will start, so move to the Dhancho through S and climbs gradually along the Gauri stream coming from the lake. The path ascends in dense forest for about 3Kms.. As height is gained the tree line is left behind and the trail works through birch trees and bushes up to the alpine meadows of Dhancho. The camp ground is seen across the Gauri stream, near a fine waterfall. It wills takes 5 to 6 hours and spends the left day at Dhancho.

Day 4 - Dhancho - Manimahesh Lake - Dhancho (14 Kms. Trek)

Dhancho to Manimahesh and back Dhancho is on feet 14 Kms.. After taking light breakfast and packed lunch early in the morning troop will move ahead. Two routes lead to the lake. Banddar Ghati the old one, up the left side of the stream. The path is steep and tiring. A new mule road has been constructed which is a little longer but less steep than Banddar Ghati. This climbs to the right and traverses a ridge for about 2 Kms.. It then bears left, crosses the Gauri stream through bridge and mounts steadily for another 1.5 Kms. reach up to Sunderashi famous for their beautiful flowers and Medicinal herbs. After that a more gradual ascent along the rocky path passes near cliffs seen to the left. After another 2 Kms. through the Bhairo Ghati trail again climbs steeply for one hour and reaches Gauri Kund. Gauri is another name of Parvati, the consort of Lord Shiva. A dip in this lake is considered sacred because it is believed that Parvati used to bath here. Only ladies are allowed to take bath in this Kund, few meters ahead is the Shiva Kalotri spring-said to have its source in Lord Shiva's feet. The trail once again crosses the Gauri stream and after a short ascent reaches the Manimahesh Lake. Manimahesh Lake is this shallow circular lake gives it an enchanting appearance and gives the pleasant view of Manimahesh Kailash. After taking bath, lunch and spending some hrs back to Dhancho the way we went to Manimahesh Lake. Anna Adventures & Tours only provides stay accommodation at Manimahesh During or nearby Manimahesh Yatra as the temperature in night at lake goes below zero so snow falls can happen any time. So for the safety of troops we will return back to Dhancho.

Manimahesh Lake Trek

Manimahesh Lake is situated at 27 Kms.s from Bharmour at the foot of Manimahesh Kailash. Lord Shiva is believed to reside on this snow-covered mountain. The lake and peak are considered sacred and a fair called as Manimahesh fair (Manimahesh Yatra) is held at the lake each and every year in the month of August and September. The Yatra starts from Janamastmi to Radhastami each and every year. It is believed that on this occasion both Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati gets the bath in the Lake. For this holy moment lacks of peoples comes from the country and abroad to take holy bath in the Manimahesh Lake. Providing a rare occasion to see and study the customs and rituals of the local peoples. And the glorious view of Manimahesh Kailash touches the hearts of visitors in the morning and at the time of sun rising. Regarding Manimahesh Kailash it is said that no one has been able to climb to the peak. Local legends clarifying that people point out rock projections, human-like in appearance, and say that one is of a hermit, the other of a shepherd, frozen stiff during their futile effort to reach the top. Many holy places come in the way to Manimahesh, at the distance of 6 Kms. from Hadsar, a Dhancho famous for water fall and after 5Kms. from Dhancho Gourikund come. Gauri is another name of Parvati, the consort of Lord Shiva. A dip in this lake is considered sacred because it is believed that Parvati used to bath in this lake. About one kilometre ahead is the Shiva Kalotri spring-said to have its source in Lord Shiva's feet. After a short run reaches the Manimahesh Lake in this shallow circular lake gives it an enchanting appearance. A roofless temple, conspicuous with many iron trinkets, is seen on the opposite side. As per legends it is necessary to take bath in Brahmani’s pool before Manimahesh Lake.

Day 5 - Dhancho - Hadsar IV Bharmour (6 Kms. Trek & 14 Kms. by Taxi)

After taking light breakfast early in the morning troop will move down hill toward Hadsar and will reach within two hours. From Hadsar by taking taxi will reach Bharmour. Reaching at Bharmour check into Hotel for rest after long journey. In night a farewell departure party will be organize by Anna Adventures & Tours for our respected guests and certificate of successfully completion of trek will be provide.On the next day, after taking breakfast in hotel with our outdoor team and official members we will depart the troop here with good wishes, remember able memories and with hopes to visit again and again for more trekking in unexplored Himalaya.
