Ombattu Gudda (nine peaks in Kannada, as it has nine prominent humps) is about 971 msl, and is considered as one of the three tough and most mysterious treks in Karnataka as it has multiple trails that hit a dead end. It is 18-20 kms from Gundiya Checkpost in the Kabbinhole Reserved Forest, along NH27 with an initial jeep track. The forest is very rich in its vegetation, flora and fauna.
