Day Wise Breakup
Day 1 - Arrive - Yangon
Meet on arrival at Yangon International Airport and transfer to hotel. Today's sightseeing tour includes the old colonial-style city center, the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years and Bogyoke (Scott’s) Market (closed on Public Holidays & Mondays). Lunch at local Restaurant.
The tour continues to Chauk Htat Gyi, a huge reclining Buddha image, followed by a photo stop at Karaweik Hall royal floating barge. An extended visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments, will conclude the tour of this picturesque Garden City. The golden dome of Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold.
If arriving on a late afternoon flight, transfer to hotel only. Dinner and accommodation at hotel, Yangon.
Day 2 - Yangon - Bago - Kyaikhtiyo
Breakfast at hotel and depart for Bago . En-route stops at the Shwenyaungpin Nat shrine to appeal for a safe journey. Observe the world largest and authentic reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha Image measuring 55 meters long and 16 meter high. Continue visit attractive Bago market, region highest Shwemawdaw Pagoda of 144 meter height and a walk to the Hinthagone Pagoda, the place where Bago was founded. Proceed to Kin pun base camp . Board on an open truck for 11 km steep and dirt road leads to the upper staging point of Yathetaung camp. Lunch at simple local restaurant. Continue walk up to the renowned Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda site. As an easier alternative to walking, four porters at an extra cost can carry you in a specially made sedan chair. The rock is completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of the cliff. Observe the magnificence view of the entire plain from this important pilgrimage site. Dinner and accommodation at hotel, Kyaikhtiyo.
Day 3 - Kyaikhtiyo - Yangon
Breakfast at hotel and wonder of the activities of local pilgrimage in this importance Buddhist pilgrimage site. Late morning walk down to the upper camp, board on a truck and to arrive at base camp. Meet your driver and continue drive to Bago. While in Bago visit Hanthawadi palace site surrounding a former Mon palace ground have been excavated. The palace compound in the center known as "Kambawzathadi" housed king "Bayinnaung of 1553 – 1599. Return to Yangon to conclude unique experience. Transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure.
