Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 - Tashkent

Upon your arrival in Uzbekistan’s capital city of Tashkent, you will be greeted by our representative at Tashkent International Airport. After a warm welcome, you will be escorted to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 - Tashkent - Samarkand (350 Kms / 05 Hours)

After having a breakfast in the hotel we take an excursion program to discover the multicultural and vibrant city of Old and New Tashkent. Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Tashkent, which includes a visit to Khazrati Imam - Architectural - Complex - where - houses - the - earliest - written - Qur'an - “Usman” - (XVI - century - and reconstructed in 2007) and it includes Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum (built in the 14th century), Barak-khan Madrasseh (XVI century), and Jamey Mosque (XIX century); Kukaldash Madrasseh (built in the 14th century) and ChorSu bazaar (one of the biggest and crowded bazaar in Tashkent).

After having a lunch in local restaurant we will drive to Samarkand, the capital city of the great military leader and statesman Amir Temur's empire. Samarkand is the city which reveals the unique and vibrant cultural heritage of Temurids'. With its ancient history of 2750 years Samarkand will leave you an unbelievable expressions and memories.

Upon your arrival in Samarkand check in at your hotel for two nights stay.

Day 3 - Day in Samarkand

After having a breakfast you can witness the surreal views of Registan Square by sunrise. Step inside this eternal symbol and extravagant display of vibrant cultural heritage of Temurids' which includes three madrassehs such as Ulugbeg Madrasseh (1417–1420), Tilya-Kori Madrasseh (1646–1660) and the Sher-Dor Madrasseh (1619–1636). The Registan means “Sandy place” from Persian.

After lunch the excursion will be continued by visiting Shakhi Zinda Mausoleum (XII-XVI centuries), Bibi Khanim Mosque (XV century), Observatory of Ulugbek (built in the 1420s by Mirza Ulugbek which is considered to be one of the finest observatories in the Islamic world and the largest in Central Asia before its destruction in 1449), an oriental market of the city “Siyob” bazaar and Rukhabad Mausoleum means “House of the Spirit” (Amir Temur ordered to build a mausoleum of Sheikh Burkhan ad-Din Sagardzi and was named Rukhabad in XIV century).

Day 4 - Samarkand - Shakhrisabz - Bukhara (180 KMS/2 HRS, 284 KMS/3 HRS)

After breakfast, embark on a leisurely drive to Shakhrisabz - it is primarily known today as the birthplace of the great military leader and statesman Amir Temur. The city with the fabulous legends and history celebrated its 2700th anniversary in 2002 by UNESCO.

Upon your arrive in Shakhrisabz you will witness the true legends about Amir Temur with visiting Ak-Saray (built in 1380-1396; “Ak” - “white”; “Saray” - “palace”), Darus-Saodat Complex (“Place of Power”, built in the XIV century) including Jakhangir Mirzo Mausoleum (elder son of Amir Temur, XIV century), Tomb of Umarshaykh Mirzo (second son of Amir Temur), Khazrati Imam Mosque (XIX century) and Tomb of Amir Temur (built specially for himself but he was buried in Samarkand); Dorut-Tillavat Complex (“The house of prophet's offspring”, XIV-XV century) consisting of Sheikh Shamsiddin Kulol Mausoleum (where spiritual mentor of Amir Temur and his father was buried, built in 1435-1436 y.), Ko'k Gumbaz Jomiy Mosque (“Blue Dome”, built in the XV century), Gumbazi-Seyidan Mausoleum (XIV-XV century).

After ending the excursion lunch will be at local restaurant. Then we will continue our route to Bukhara. - Upon arrival check in at your hotel for 02 nights stay. Overnight stay at hotel in Bukhara.

Day 5 - Day in Bukhara

This morning you will be visiting sightseeing of an ancient and fairy-tale town of Bukhara ("vihara" which means "monastery" in Sanskrit), the land of magical lamps and Eastern beauties. Ancient Great Silk Road caravans never missed this town - the only oasis around. Superb historical monuments and the city's lively trade make it so that every traveler finds something unique in this town. The city is the best choice for taking religious tour. In 1997, the city celebrated its 2500 anniversary. We will visit the Ark Fortress of Bukhara, which was built in the V century A.D. Furthermore, Mausoleum of Ismail Samani (X century), Madrasseh of Ulugbek (1417 year), Bolo Hovuz mosque (XVIII century), Poi-Kalyan Complex including: Minaret of Kalyan (XII century), Madrasseh of Mir- Arab (XVI century), and Kalyan Mosque (XV century). This afternoon, visit Taqi Zargaron Bazaar ("Dome of the Jewelers", XVI century), where you can buy souvenirs and handmade and unique jeweleries. “Demonstration of silk production and materials” will be awaiting for you all where you will be witnessing the process of making silk by local skilled silk makers; Labi-Khauz Mosque (XVI-XVII century), Nadir Devanbegi Madrasseh (1622-1623 years), Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa Palace (XIX century), which is the only remained summer palace of the last Emir of Bukhara, Emir Alimkhan. Chor-Minor Madrasseh (“Four Minarets”, built in 1807 y.), Complex of Bakhouddin Nakshbandiy, which includes Bakhouddin Nakshbandiy Mausoleum (XIV-XV centuries), Khonaka (XVI century), mosque and minaret of Abdulfayzkhan (XVIII century), Kushbegi mosque (XIX century) and vault of Bukhara's rulers.

Day 6 - Bukhara - Khiva (480 Kms / 7 Hrs)

This morning we will take our route to Khiva through Kizil Kum Desert (“Red Sand Desert”) and picnic as a lunch will be served on the way.

Upon your arrival in Khiva you will be checked in at your hotel for 01 night stay.

Day 7 - Khiva - Tashkent

After having a breakfast you can witness the surreal views of Khiva by sunrise. Step inside the city which has known as the museum under blue sky. The city listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site list, due to its significance and importance to Islam with its 94 mosques and 63 madrassehs. The city is the place of originations of sacred book of Zoroastrians “Avesto”, location of Mamun Academy “House of Wisdom” and home for Abu Ali ibn Sino “Avicenna”, Mukhammad Al-Khorazmiy, who is the founder of Algebra; Abu Raykhan Beruni and other greatest ancestors'. In 1997, Khiva celebrated its 2500 anniversary by UNESCO. The city is divided into two parts: Dichan Kala, the outer town, and Itchan Kala, the inner town.

The whole day will be spent for exploring Itchan Kala which includes visit of Islam Khodja Complex (XIX century) which consists of the highest minaret in Uzbekistan, mosque and madrasseh of Islam Khodja; Kuhna Ark (“Old fortress”, V - XVII century), one residence of Khiva Khans'; Madrasseh of Mukhammad Amin Khan (XIX century); Minaret of Kalta Minar (XIX century); Madrasseh of Mukhammad Rakhim Khan II (XIX century); Tosh Khovli Palace Complex (XIX century); Madrasseh of Alla Kuli Khan (XIX century); Mausoleum of Said Allauddin (the greatest Sufi Sheikh, XIV century); Mausoleum of Pakhlavan Makhmud (XIX century); Madrasseh of Shergazi Khan (XVIII century) ; Madrasseh of Abdulla Khan (XIX century) and Palvan Darvaza Gate (there are four gates in Itchan Kala: Bogcha Darvaza Gate (Northern), Tosh Darvaza Gate (Southern), Palvan Darvaza (East side) and Ota Darvaza Gate (Western)).

After dinner, embark on a return flight to Tashkent through Urgench Domestic Airport. Upon your arrival at Tashkent International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8 - Tashkent (Departure)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the International Airport to catch your flight back home. Battuta Travel services terminate at Tashkent.
