Day 1 - Tashkent Upon your arrival in Uzbekistan’s capital city of Tashkent, you will be greeted by our representative at Tashkent International Airport. After a warm welcome, you will be escorted to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 - Tashkent - Samarkand (350 Kms / 05 Hours) After having a breakfast in the hotel we take an excursion program to discover the multicultural and vibrant city of Old and New Tashkent. Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Tashkent, which includes a visit to Khazrati Imam - Architectural - Complex - where - houses - the - earliest - written - Qur'an - “Usman” - (XVI - century - and reconstructed in 2007) and it includes Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum (built in the 14th century), Barak-khan Madrasseh (XVI century), and Jamey Mosque (XIX century); Kukaldash Madrasseh (built in the 14th century) and ChorSu bazaar (one of the biggest and crowded bazaar in Tashkent).
Day 3 - Day in Samarkand After having a breakfast you can witness the surreal views of Registan Square by sunrise. Step inside this eternal symbol and extravagant display of vibrant cultural heritage of Temurids' which includes three madrassehs such as Ulugbeg Madrasseh (1417–1420), Tilya-Kori Madrasseh (1646–1660) and the Sher-Dor Madrasseh (1619–1636). The Registan means “Sandy place” from Persian.
Day 4 - Samarkand - Shakhrisabz - Bukhara (180 KMS/2 HRS, 284 KMS/3 HRS) After breakfast, embark on a leisurely drive to Shakhrisabz - it is primarily known today as the birthplace of the great military leader and statesman Amir Temur. The city with the fabulous legends and history celebrated its 2700th anniversary in 2002 by UNESCO.
Day 5 - Day in Bukhara This morning you will be visiting sightseeing of an ancient and fairy-tale town of Bukhara ("vihara" which means "monastery" in Sanskrit), the land of magical lamps and Eastern beauties. Ancient Great Silk Road caravans never missed this town - the only oasis around. Superb historical monuments and the city's lively trade make it so that every traveler finds something unique in this town. The city is the best choice for taking religious tour. In 1997, the city celebrated its 2500 anniversary. We will visit the Ark Fortress of Bukhara, which was built in the V century A.D. Furthermore, Mausoleum of Ismail Samani (X century), Madrasseh of Ulugbek (1417 year), Bolo Hovuz mosque (XVIII century), Poi-Kalyan Complex including: Minaret of Kalyan (XII century), Madrasseh of Mir- Arab (XVI century), and Kalyan Mosque (XV century). This afternoon, visit Taqi Zargaron Bazaar ("Dome of the Jewelers", XVI century), where you can buy souvenirs and handmade and unique jeweleries. “Demonstration of silk production and materials” will be awaiting for you all where you will be witnessing the process of making silk by local skilled silk makers; Labi-Khauz Mosque (XVI-XVII century), Nadir Devanbegi Madrasseh (1622-1623 years), Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa Palace (XIX century), which is the only remained summer palace of the last Emir of Bukhara, Emir Alimkhan. Chor-Minor Madrasseh (“Four Minarets”, built in 1807 y.), Complex of Bakhouddin Nakshbandiy, which includes Bakhouddin Nakshbandiy Mausoleum (XIV-XV centuries), Khonaka (XVI century), mosque and minaret of Abdulfayzkhan (XVIII century), Kushbegi mosque (XIX century) and vault of Bukhara's rulers.
Day 6 - Bukhara - Khiva (480 Kms / 7 Hrs) This morning we will take our route to Khiva through Kizil Kum Desert (“Red Sand Desert”) and picnic as a lunch will be served on the way.
Day 7 - Khiva - Tashkent After having a breakfast you can witness the surreal views of Khiva by sunrise. Step inside the city which has known as the museum under blue sky. The city listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site list, due to its significance and importance to Islam with its 94 mosques and 63 madrassehs. The city is the place of originations of sacred book of Zoroastrians “Avesto”, location of Mamun Academy “House of Wisdom” and home for Abu Ali ibn Sino “Avicenna”, Mukhammad Al-Khorazmiy, who is the founder of Algebra; Abu Raykhan Beruni and other greatest ancestors'. In 1997, Khiva celebrated its 2500 anniversary by UNESCO. The city is divided into two parts: Dichan Kala, the outer town, and Itchan Kala, the inner town.
Day 8 - Tashkent (Departure) After breakfast, you will be transferred to the International Airport to catch your flight back home. Battuta Travel services terminate at Tashkent.
