Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 - New Delhi - Varanasi (By Fly)

On arrival in Varanasi, the guest will be met by our representative and proceed for sightseeing tour of Sarnath. Sarnath - 5 miles out of Varanasi - one of the holiest Buddhist sites in the world, where Buddha preached his first Sermon in 590 B.C. Here you will witness the ruins of a once flourishing Buddhist monastery and then visit a fine Museum which houses an excellent collection of Buddhist art and sculptures found at the site. (Sarnath museum is closed on Friday).

Thereafter transfer to the hotel and check-in. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 2 - Varanasi

Early morning before breakfast at 0500 hrs boat ride on the river Ganges. We rise before dawn and step gingerly in the boat as the boatman starts rowing the boat. We wait for the daily miracle to unfold, as the Sun appears triumphantly over the horizon. The sound of conches and temple bells add to the delicate pink fabric of dawn. The formerly hushed murmuring of ancient Sanskrit 'Shlokas' now rises, in one voice, to a crescendo of unparalleled piety and joy. We return to our Hotel. for breakfast.

After breakfast proceed to explore the city. Visit several beautiful temples like VishwanathTemple, Bharat Mata temple etc. That mesmerizes you with their spellbinding architecture. Return to the Hotel.. Overnight Stay at the Hotel.

Day 3 - Varanasi - Bodhgaya

After breakfast leave for Bodhgaya by Road. Upon arrival check-in at Hotel. then proceed to visit most sacred place for Buddhists as it has a Peepul tree under which Gautam Buddha attained enlightenment some 2500 years back. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 4 - Bodhgaya - Patna

After breakfast proceed to PATNA Enroute visiting RAJGIR and NALANDA. Visit Rajgir, Buddha’s domicile for 12 years and the venue for the first Buddhist Councile after he attained Nirvana. Proceed to Nalanda University, the center of Intellectualism founded in the 5th Century. Return to Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 5 - Patna - Vaishali - Patna

After breakfast proceed to Vaishali, an important Buddhist Shrine. Visit the Stupa where Buddha's relics were buried is also here. Next to it is the modern-day Japanese temple and the Vishwa Shanti Stupa also built by the Japanese. The main monastery built by the Lichchavis for Sakyamuni is Kutagarshala Vihara (3 kms from the town).

Visit the famous Ashok Pillar with a lion head, made out of red sandstone and 18.3 m in height can be seen here. The Archaeological museum has a rich collection of statues, coins, carvings and other historical relics. The Fort of Raja Vishala (after who the city was named) is where the Parliament of the ancient democratic government was housed. Also visit the Bawan Pokhar temple dating from the Pala dynasty, on the banks of a large tank. Back to Patna

Overnight stay at Hotel in Patna.

Day 6 - Patna - New Delhi (By Air)

Morning after breakfast transfer to the airport for the connecting flight to New Delhi, on arrival transfer to the Hotel.
