The state of Sikkim is inhabited by peoples following different religions. Once upon a time majority of the people where Buddhists. The monasteries or the Gumpas are very important n the life of a Buddhist. Rumtek monastery, a replica of Tsurphu monastery of Tibet, is the biggest monastery of Sikkim. Tsomgo Lake, literally means “source of the lake” in the Bhutea language. It is located of 3780mtrs, 1 km long, oval in shape, 15mtrs deep and is considered sacred. Open both to the Indians and foreigners it is an ideal habitat of the red panda and various of birds.

Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 - Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri – Gangtok

On arrival at the Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station (on your own), and drive to Gangtok on arrival you will check in to your hotel. Local sight seeing.

Day 2 - Gangtok

Full day local sight seeing. Night stay at Gangtok.

Day 3 - Gangtok - Tsomgo Lake – Babamandir – Gangtok

Today take a a beautiful drive to tsomgo lake & babamandir. Back to hotel in the evening. Night stay at Gangtok.

Day 4 - Gangtok – Bagdogra / Newjalpaiguri

Today you are transferred to Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station for your onward journey.
