Bilikallu Rangaswamy Betta is located in Bangalore rural district, around 50 kms from the city in the southwest direction. It is one of the highest hills in the area, its called as bilikal betta due to the whitish rock face on the summit. The vegetation is lush green with thick forest cover especially post monsoons. The adjoining forests are known to harbour elephants and other wildlife endemic to the area. The view from the top is very picturesque and the hillocks from the surrounding Kanakapura range, Kabbala durga, Savanadurga are visible.
