Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrive - Delhi

    Welcome to the capital city of India – Delhi. It is a modern metropolitan city with a dramatic backdrop of ancient architecture. Check in to your Hotel. Day is free to relax after a long flight, Overnight stay at Delhi.

  • Day 2 : Delhi sightseeing

    Delhi offers its visitors with end number of options to visit we take you to Old Delhi to begin the sightseeing. Visit the largest mosque of India Jama Masjid built in 1644 - 56AD by great Mughal emperor Shahjahan. Drive past through the glorious Red Fort built in 1638 – 48AD by Great Mughal emperor Shahjahan. Begin the New Delhi sightseeing from here and visit the memory place of Mahatma Gandhi – Rajghat. The famous landmark of Delhi is India Gate, drive past this memorial built to honour the Indian and British soldiers who died in World War I and the Afghan wars. The walls of memorial are inscribed with the names of Martyrs. The largest residence of any Head of the state of the world is in Delhi – The Rashtrapati Bhawan and it is the official residence of the President of India with 340 rooms. We will also visit Humayun's Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. The complex is a World Heritage Site & the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. Next stop is the highest stone tower in India – Qutub Minar built in 1193 AD. Last on Delhi sightseeing tour is a visit to the architectural marvel of city is a white lotus shaped temple - The Lotus Temple. Built by the followers of Bahai Faith this monument gives an impression to the visitors of a half open lotus flower surrounded by its outspread leaves. Beautifully set among the set of pools and the Gardens.

  • Day 3 : Delhi – Agra

    Begin the day with the sightseeing tour of Agra, the monument that draws largest number of tourists to India is in this very city - Taj Mahal symbol of eternal love standing on the banks of River Yamuna is considered to be the most beautiful building of the world. Built by Shah Jahan as a memory for his second wife Mumtaz Mahal who died at the time when she was giving birth to their child. It took almost 22 years and 20000 artisans and labourers to build this wonder of the world. In Agra there are many attractive monuments one can see and we take you the next tourist site Agra Fort built on the bank of the Yamuna River this massive red sandstone fort is one of the finest forts in India but somehow overshadowed by the glory of Taj Mahal. Some other attractions include Akbar's Mausoleum at Sikandra, Itmad-Ud-Daulah nicknamed as Baby Taj and the colorful bazaars (markets) of Agra.

  • Day 4 : Agra – Jaipur

    Once we are through the park visit drive towards Fatehpur Sikri. It is also known as The Ghost Town and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by the Mughal emperor Akbar in 1570 and served as the short lived capital till 1585. When Emperor Akbar visited Sikri to consult the Sufi saint Salim Chisti who predicted the birth of the heir for Mughal Empire and indeed it came true. So to honor Salim the Fatehpur Sikri was declared to be the capital. However due to scarcity of water it could not be the capital forever. This will be an enjoyable sightseeing trip. Later continue drive to Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur, check into your hotel.

  • Day 5 : Jaipur

    The significant Amber Fort is one of the major attractions of Jaipur Sightseeing so this morning visit to the hill fort of Amber which was built in 1592 AD by Maharaja Man Singh. The most popular way to reach the vibrant fort entrance is by an elephant back ride like a royal king or queen. The breathtaking palaces, complexes, halls, pavilions and Gardens at Amber fort will leave you enthralled. The rest of the day can be used for visiting The City Palace & Museum that houses an imposing collection of Rajasthani art Jewellery, tremendous range of miniature paintings, armory, carpets and thousands of ancient handwritten manuscripts preserved by the royal family's in their private collections. It is blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Another remarkable monument of Jaipur is The Observatory built between 1727-34 AD is noteworthy collection of conventional astronomical instruments. The spectacular Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds is a pyramid shaped monument built in 1799 AD. It allowed the royal families women to see the street procession with 953 small niche windows made in it. Overnight stay is at Jaipur.

  • Day 6 : Jaipur – Jodhpur

    This morning head to Jodhpur better known as sun-city the most alluring part of this city is the traditional lifestyle, festivity and the smiling people who treasure this former Princely state. On arrival at Jodhpur, check into your hotel. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

  • Day 7 : Jodhpur

    Situated at a distance of just 65kms from Osiyan is the Blue City Jodhpur. Established in 1459 by Rao Jodha, Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan divided into old city and new city. There are beautiful palaces and forts built in Jodhpur creating a scenic and mesmerizing landscape. The towering fort of Mehrangarh is dominating the city and a main landmark here. It consists of some captivating palaces, galleries, museums and temples in it. Jodhpur is a tourist spot known for its culture and heritage reflecting in its colorful handicrafts, folk dances, music, fairs and festivals. On arrival visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada – a white marble memorial of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II built in 1899. Later visit the Clock Tower and Markets of Jodhpur to buy some souvenirs. Drive back to Osiyan for overnight stay.

  • Day 8 : Jodhpur – Jaisalmer

    Following a leisurely breakfast, we drive to Jaisalmer for overnight stay. Jaisalmer popularly known as "Golden City" is a princely city crowned by a massive sandcastle rising from the sandy plains. After the long drive day relax and overnight stay is in Jaisalmer.

  • Day 9 : Jaisalmer

    Begin the day with Jaisalmer sightseeing by visiting Sonargarh Fort a breathtaking sight; it was built in 1156 by Rajput ruler Jaisala. At a height of 80m high on Trikuta Hill situated is this sandstone marvel where people still resides and the experience to walk through the lanes inside is unique in its own way. There are many Palaces and Jain Temples built inside the fort making it wonderful museum to explore. There are various magnificent Haveli's to be seen in Jaisalmer such as Patwon-ki-Haveli, Salim Singh-ki-Haveli, Nathmal-ki-Haveli etc. These Haveli's are fascinating and masterpiece of architecture with impressive carvings. Later we drive 42kms from Jaisalmer and reach one of the most popular excursions from Jaisalmer attracting tourists from all over – Sam Sand Dunes. These are Sahara like desert with huge folds of sands; here one can enjoy the Camel ride on the dunes that gives a real Rajasthan experience. The best time to visit Sam dunes is during the sunrise or sunset. Drive back to Jaisalmer for overnight stay.

  • Day 10 : Jaisalmer – Bikaner

    After breakfast at the Jaisalmer, we will proceed towards our next destination – Bikaner. It is a dust swirling dessert town situated in the middle of Thar Dessert founded by Rao Bika in 1488. Bikaner is famous for its Camel Safaris that attracts a lot of tourists. On arrival check in at the hotel and overnight stay is in Bikaner.

  • Day 11 : Bikaner

    Visit the city of Bikaner after the morning breakfast. Start with the main attraction of Bikaner an impressive fort – The Junagarh Fort, it was founded by Raja Rai Singh in 1588 – 1593. This fort is a perfect combination of several architectural styles as within the fort you can see picturesque ensemble of courtyards, balconies, towers and windows. The highlights of the fort include Diwan-i-Khas, Phool Mahal, Hawa Mahal and Anup Mahal. Our next site is the Lalgarh Palace made up of red sand stone built by Maharaja Lal Singh. It is grandeur with overhanging balconies and delicate latticework. Bikaner houses some of the notable Jain Temples that dates back to 15th century such as Bhandasar Temple and Sandeshwar Temple.

  • Day 12 : Bikaner – Mandawa

    Today drive to painted town Mandawa, on arrival visit painted havelies and Forts of Mandawa and nearby town of Dundlod and Nawalgarh. Overnight stay at heritage hotel.

  • Day 13 : Mandawa – Delhi

    Morning free to visit the frescos and paintings of the Mandawa in some which most famous are Goenka Haveli, Goenka Double Haveli, Jhunjhunwala Haveli, Murmuria Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli and Mohan Lal Saraf Haveli.

  • Day 14 : Delhi – Bangalore

    Following a leisurely breakfast, get transferred to the airport to board your flight to Bangalore. Meet and assist by our representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel for rest and relaxation.

    This amazing South India tour, Bangalore - the capital city of Karnataka is 1000m above sea level and attracts visitors with its pleasant climate throughout the year. Bangalore is India's fast growing city that has undergone massive transformation over the years. Today it is a trendy high speed image which is quiet unmatched with the most cities of South India. A half day sightseeing of Bangalore today visiting Lal Bagh Botanical Garden that has some uncommon species of plants brought in from Persia, Afghanistan and France. Bangalore Palace built in 1887 is a must see, passers-by enthralled by the structural and architectural finesse of this Tudor style building. Fort of Tipu Sultan in Bangalore's hustling and bustling market area is a ruined fort illustrating his strong opposition to the British rule is also a tourist site.

  • Day 16 : Bangalore – Mysore

    Today after morning breakfast we drive to Mysore the city which boasts of its rich legacy. The former capital of the Wodeyars, the charming little city of Mysore retains an old world flavour which is quiet enchanting. The buildings and temples are proof of the preservation of its heritage and have given the epithet "City of Palaces" to Mysore. On reaching check into your hotel, and spend rest of the day leisure while exploring the city at your own.

  • Day 17 : Mysore

    Today we take the city sightseeing which takes you through the "Mysore palace" situated in the heart of the city, it is an important monument which is also often referred as Maharaja's Palace. The original palace was burnt in 1897 as it was made up of wood and was later rebuilt in 1912 for the 24th Wodeyar Raja. This magnificent palace designed in Indo Saracenic style by the British architect Henry Irwin is considered as the treasure trove of awe inspiring carving and works of the art collected from across the world. The Elephant Gate is the main entrance to the palace and Diwan-e-Am, the Durbar Hall on the second floor is beautified by an ornate ceiling, a shiny floor and sculpted pillars. Next we visit the Chamundi Hills Temple which is another major tourist attraction in Mysore, atop this hill at 3000ft stands the Chamundeshwari Temple which can either be reached by a drive or if you are one of those adventure seekers then climb up a 1000 steps which leads to the temple. Some other attractions which are worth a visit include Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery, and Rail Museum. Overnight stay is in Mysore.

  • Day 18 : Mysore – Hassan

    Today we depart for silent town of Hassan mainly famous for its excursion to Shravanabelagola, Belur and Helebid. Today visit Shravanabelagola, which is 51 Kms of Hassan and is famous for its Jain Temples which has a statue of Lord Bahubali which is world’s tallest monolithic statue with 17 m height. Overnight stay at Hassan.

  • Day 19 : Hassan – Belur – Helibid – Hassan

    Explore the archeological sites of Halebid and Belur. We firstly stop at Halebid, founded in early 11th century this town has served as capital to the Hoysala Empire once in ancient times. The main attraction here is the "Hoysaleswara Temple" dedicated to Lord Shiva and dates back to 1121 and is a masterpiece of Hoysala architecture with marvelous carvings covering the walls that include Hindi deities, sages, stylized animals and friezes depicting the life of the Hoysala rulers.

  • Day 20 : Hassan – Pattadakal & Aihole – Badami

    While on our way we visit Pattadakal and Aihole. Pattadakal is a destination with some of the marvelous heritage structures & temples from 7th and 8th century. These temples showcase a great combination of North and South India architecture built during Chalukya dynasty. The group of temples of Pattadakal is unique and varies in sizes from each other; the main temple is Virupaksha Temple is a masterpiece and stands out from the rest of the temples. It is a massive structure with columns covered with intricate carvings that depict the scenes from Hindu epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. Some of the other temples to be visited here include Mallikarjuna Temple, Papanatha Temple, Sangamesvara Temple, Chandrasekhara Temple, Jambulinga Temple, Kadasiddheswara Temple & Galaganatha temple. From here we drive to Aihole, it was the first capital of the Chalukyan Empire and there are hundreds of temples scattered all over. The prominent temple groups are the Kontigudi Group and the Galaganatha Group. These temples were raised between 6th and 12th centuries. Ladkhan temple is the oldest one in AIhole and dates back to 450 AD. And the Durga Temple situated near the fort is laid in the style of a Buddhist temple is another popular temple here. Other temples here are Huchchimalligudi, Gaudaragudi and Chakragudi. After the temple visits we continue drive to Badami. On arrival check in at the hotel and overnight stay is in Badami.

  • Day 21 : Badami

    Badami is a picturesque small town of Karnataka which had served as the capital of the early Chalukyas in the 6th century located between two rocky hills. The magnificent cave temples of Badami are the main reason to come here. The group of temples consists of four cave temples with gigantic carvings on their walls. A flight of stairs leads you to ancient caves carved out sandstone on the precipice of a hill. Out of the four temples three are Brahmanical temples and one is Jain cave temple of the 7th century. Some of the other sights that can be visited in Badami include the 5th century Agastyatirtha Tank and the waterside Bhutanatha temples. Overnight stay is in Badami.

    The last destination in your itinerary – Goa is where we drive today after breakfast. Goa is an interesting mosaic of cultures and known as India's beach capital.
