Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive NJP or Bagdogra - Drive to Darjeeling

  On your arrival NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport our driver will meet and greet you and transfer to Darjeeling.
  Drive to Darjeeling located at a distance of 88 km and 3:00 - 3:30 hour drive. Hill town of Darjeeling is situated at an altitude of 6710 feet. The town was originally set up by British, as a health resort. It produces the world famous Darjeeling tea.
  On your arrival in Darjeeling, check in at the hotel.
  Rest of the day is free. In the evening you can go for a stroll to the town areas.

• Day 2 : Darjeeling - Local Sightseeing

  Breakfast at the hotel.
  Early morning at around 4:00 am drive to Tiger Hill situated at an altitude of 8000 feet. From the observatory at Tiger Hill, view sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga (subject to clear weather).
  While returning to Darjeeling we visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial and Batasia Loop.
  Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we take you for a half day sightseeing of Darjeeling visiting Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed) and Peace Pagoda.
  In the afternoon return back to the hotel. Time free for shopping and buy some famous Darjeeling Tea.
  Stay overnight at your hotel in Darjeeling.

• Day 3 : Darjeeling - Gangtok

  Have an early breakfast at the hotel.
  After breakfast drive to Gangtok located at a distance of 97 km and 3:00 hour drive. Gangtok is capital of Sikkim and is situated at a height of 5500 feet with spectacular views of Mount Kanchenjunga.
  On your arrival in Gangtok, check in at the hotel.
  After Lunch rest of the day is free. In the evening you can go for a stroll to MG Road and Lal Bazar.
  Stay overnight at hotel in Gangtok.

• Day 4 : Gangtok - Tsongmo Lake Excursion

  Have an early breakfast at the hotel.
  At around 8 am leave for Tsongmo Lake, 34km from Gangtok, situated at an altitude of 12,400 feet and it is 3:00 hour drive. This is the most visited lake in Sikkim. The lake is associated with many myths and legends and is considered sacred by the locals.
  We also visit Baba Harbhajan Mandir situated at an altitude of 13,200 feet.
  Some 18 km from Tsongmo Lake, situated at 14,600 feet, is the famous Nathula Pass. You can optionally book visit to Nathula Pass and an extra cost. But this has to be done at time of your booking only as you need to have a permit to visit Nathula pass. Foreign national are not allowed to visit and photography is strictly prohibited. Nathula cannot be visited on Mondays and Tuesdays.
  Return to Gangtok by evening and stay overnight.

• Day 5 : Gangtok - Gangtok to Lachen

  Breakfast at the hotel.
  After breakfast drive to Lachen located at a distance of 107 kms.
  En route we stop at Tashi View Point, Kabi Lungtsok, Naga Waterfall, and the Confluence of Lachen Chu & Lachung Chu at Chungthang.
  Arrive at Lachen late in the afternoon and check in at the hotel.
  Rest of the day at leisure.

• Day 6 : Lachen - Lachung

  Early breakfast at the hotel.
  After breakfast and leave for Thangu Village located at an altitude of 13450 feet, a remote high altitude village of Tibetan Nomads & Chopta Valley.
  From Chopta Valley we drive to Gurudongmar Lake. It is 30 kms drive which takes about 1:30 hour. It is the Second highest lake in India, situated at an altitude of 17143 feet, close to Tibet Border. Please note that visit to the lake is weather permitting and prior permission needs to be taken.
  Return to Lachen for lunch. After lunch visit Lachen Monastery.
  Drive to Lachung which is 47 kms and 2:00 hour drive. En route visit Bhim Nala Waterfalls.
  After breakfast drive to Lachung located at a distance of 116 km and 3:45 hour drive. Lachung located in North Sikkim is a picturesque mountain village situated at an altitude of 8610 feet and acts as a base for travellers visiting Yumthang valley. Located on the banks of Lachung Chu (river) it is famous for apples, peaches and apricots.
  On your arrival in Lachung, check in at the hotel

• Day 7 : Gangtok Departure

  This morning after breakfast, we shall head for Yumthang Valley (14200 ft).the drive to Yumthang takes about 1 hour along some of the most picturesque surroundings.
  Upon arrival at Yumthang, visit the beautiful valley; spend some time taking the pictures amidst spectacular backdrop of silver white valley.
  After this visit, we shall board the vehicle and head back to Lachung. We pack our luggage and leave for Gangtok. On the way if the weather is clear you may get to see mighty Khangchendzonga from Singhik.
  On the way we will visit Phodong Monastery. This morning after breakfast, we shall head for Yumthang Valley (14200 ft).the drive to Yumthang takes about 1 hour along some of the most picturesque surroundings.
  Upon arrival at Yumthang, visit the beautiful valley; spend some time taking the pictures amidst spectacular backdrop of silver white valley.
  After this visit, we shall board the vehicle and head back to Lachung. We pack our luggage and leave for Gangtok. On the way if the weather is clear you may get to see mighty Khangchendzonga from Singhik.

  Arrive at Gangtok and rest of the day at leisure.

  My Sister had booked a package from Vishwa Bhraman Travel Solutions Pvt. Ltd.. We were satisfied with the Jim Corbett Package. Then we planned to go for a new package for Kanha National Park. We were searching for a property which will be situated within the forest and the arranged that for Us. Not only that the Journey from Jabalpur to Kanha was also taken care by them .
