  • Met At You Hotel And Transfer To The Domestic Airport

    Description :

    Met at you hotel and transfer to the domestic airport for the 30 minute flight to Pokhara. Upon arrival you will be met by your Sherpa crew and drive north of Pokhara for approximately 1½ hours to the trek start point at Nayapul. This first day’s trek is a pleasant walk through villages, scattered forest and farmland and takes you to the village of Hille (approximately 3 hours)

    Continue On To The Village Of Tirkedunga

    Description :

    Continue on to the village of Tirkedunga from where one begins a steep climb up an infamous 2,767-step stone staircase to Ulleri.

    Lunch may be taken here after which the trail continues through beautiful forest until one reaches the pass at Ghorapani.

    An Early Morning Ascent Of Poon Hill

    Description :

    An early morning ascent of Poon Hill is recommended for magnificent panoramic view of the mountain ranges. Annapurna South and Hiunchuli are up front, towering and prominent, while Machapuchare looks a little less distinguished further to the east.

    On returning from Poon Hill we make a gradual ascent that takes us eastwards for about an hour until we come to the crest of the hill. For a brief period the trail becomes fairly even before it steeply descends through thick forest to Banthati where we stop for lunch. Banthati is a small place comprising of a few houses turned into lodges and restaurants. From here we descend for another hour before climbing a steep hill at the top of which lies Tadapani. Tadapani comprises of a few nicely built houses turned into lodges. The people here are all from Ghandrung and they settled here just for the purpose of setting up in business for the trekker who pass this way. A more central and close-up view of Machapuchare can be enjoyed from here

    Our Route Continues Downwards

    Description :

    Our route continues downwards in a south-easterly direction through thick forest. After sometime we leave the forest behind and cross sparsely covered hills. Going further down we arrive at Ghandrung in time for lunch. Ghandrung is a rich Gurung farming village standing on the west bank high above the river and offers a wonderful view point.

    The afternoon may be spend at leisure but it is well worth spending some time exploring the village, and for the more energetic the route leading north out of the village with its picturesque houses with their slate and thatched roofs surrounded by slab courtyards. From here the view of Machapuchare (22942′/6993m) shows the reason for its name (The Fish Tail) with twin peaks lying north south plainly visible, whereas from the Pokhara valley the view is only of the spectacular southern face. To the north also lies Huinchuli (21133′/6441m) connected by the razor sharp ridge which leads across to the peak of Annapurna South (23683′/7219m). The trail to the famous Annapurna Sanctuary lies between the guardian mountains of Huinchuli and Machapuchare.

    After Breakfast We Proceed Down The Steep Trail

    Description :

    After breakfast we proceed down the steep trail passing through farmland until we come to the Modi Khola river, which begins its life in the Annapurna Sanctuary. We cross a narrow suspension bridge and ascend quite rapidly to the village of Landrung. The landscape is broken by a few houses and the odd school. After lunch we climb steadily through Rhododendron before cresting the ridge

    After A Gradual Climb, We Descend Down To Dhampus Village

    Description :

    After a gradual climb, we descend down to Dhampus Village and finally to Phedi where we meet our vehicle and drive to Pokhara (approx 45 mins).

    Having received your acceptance through the net, e-mail, and having received a deposit of 20% of the total tour cost, we shall e-mail to you a final confirmation of your booking along with its invoice.

    we reserve the right to impose surcharges up to two months of your tour operation due to unfavorable changes in currency exchange rates, increases in air-fares or other transport costs, or increase in entrance/permit/visa fees or if government action should require us to do so.

    Cancellation of Booking and Tour

    Cancellation of Booking by The Client

    If you cancel the booking two months in advance of the tour departure, the total advance deposit shall be refunded, excluding the bank service charges.

    If you cancel the booking 15 days in advance of the tour departure, we shall refund only 50% of the advance deposit, only 10% of the total tour cost.

    If you cancel your booking in less than 15 days before the tour departure, we shall not refund the advanced deposit, hence 20% of the total tour cost shall be deducted from the refund if total tour cost has already been covered.

    Cancellation of Tour by The Company

    We will not cancel your tour unless we are forced to do so by unusual or unforeseen circumstances, such as war, civil or political unrest or what is usually beyond our control.

    if we cancel your tour we will refund all payments made to us in respect of the tour cost, but we shall not be liable to refund you for incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking like visa fee or expenses like bank charge at our end while receiving your payment or bank service charge while transferring amount to third party.

    Pricing Policy

    Unless otherwise specified, all prices are for double occupancy

    Single supplement price applies to any person who books and pays for a trek as one person, which will include provision of single person accommodation in all locations.

    Multiple person (2 or more) pricing applies to anyone who books and pays for a trek for two or more persons, which will include the provision of multiple person accommodation in all locations.

    Prices are based on known costs at the present year. The prices quoted by Mountain Tiger are based on airfares, exchange rates and costs in effect on the date shown.

    We reserve the right to alter our prices, with at a two-month prior notice to the client, if these rates change substantially, and may also apply surcharges in the event of significant changes in airfare, government regulations and taxes.

    In the event that a client doesn’t agree on the payment of surcharges and decides to cancel the booking, he or she shall be refunded the entire advance payment.

    Note : – What the cost includes or excludes is specifically stated on each itinerary issued by Mountain Tiger Nepal.

    Liabilities and Responsibilities

    Our Company Will Accept Liability for the negligence of our own employees causing direct physical injury to passengers, in the obligatory manner that the law addresses.

    Bad weather in mountainous regions can cause flight delays. If your return to Kathmandu is delayed by bad weather prior to departure from the trek destination, Our Company Will Assist you to arrange all your accommodation and food at your own cost. And unfortunately we can’t accept responsibility for charges incurred as a result of missed international flight connections. We will, nevertheless, help you organize your ongoing flight arrangement.

    Our Company Will Not Accept Liability for changes and alternations in the itinerary suggested by the client or due to unavoidable circumstances such as land-slides, road blockage, flood, snow, general strikes and political unrest, cancellation of flight, flight delay (which mainly applies to Jumla (Simikot), Juphal, Jomsom, Lukla, Tumlingtar and Taplejung in Nepal), quarantine restrictions, sickness or accidents. Any extra cost incurred thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spot. All clients are advised to take out their own insurance to adequately cover against medical and personal accident risk.

    Our Company Will Not Accept Liability for any loss or damages caused by the total or partial failure to carry out the contract, attributable to the client or a third party unconnected to the Company; or a result of unusual and unforeseen circumstances which is beyond the control of the Company.

    Our Company reserves the right to refuse to continue to carry any client causing inconvenience or annoyance to other travelers/trekkers, or creating difficulties that would hamper the smooth running of a trip.

    It is the traveler/trekker’s responsibility to have six-month valid passports and all visas and personal equipment that may be required on the selected tour. We do not accept responsibility for failure to obtain these visas for any reason.
    Assumption of risk

    Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realize the hazards involved in this kind of tour, as most of our tour/trekking/expeditions involves going to rural areas where there are limited facilities. Our Company, or any of its employees or agents, Will Not Be Liable for delay, loss or damage to personal property, personal injury, illness or death which might occur.

    Insurance

    It is a condition while booking treks and tours with Mountain Tiger Nepal that travelers/trekkers must have insurance that covers cancellation, accidents, health and medical, emergency evacuation (helicopter), theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects. Our company can help you obtain insurance, which covers the aforementioned categories, for which you could e-mail us at info@mountaintigernepal.com.

    All costs for emergency evacuation must be paid in cash in Nepal unless an insurance company has agreed to pay the costs on your behalf. It is important, however, that any insurance policy issued to cover emergency evacuation for trek/tour does not exclude alpinism or mountaineering.

    Health, Fitness and Safety

    We strongly recommend that you visit a medical doctor before your trip. Your doctor will advise current inoculation requirements. If a doctor has recommended against travel or indicated that travel may be inconvenient, then please do inform us on the details. We also recommend that you maintain general fitness and physique in a preparation for the strenuous requirements of your prospective tour.

    All our guides are trained regarding first-aid, hygiene, and proper sanitation. We carry extensive medical kits and, if the need should ever arise, we are able to evacuate seriously ill group members by helicopter.

    Customer Service

    If you have any complaint about any of the services during the tour you should immediately inform the local tour operators, or the tour leader/guide, who is required to solve your problem.

    No refund will be made if passanger/s has/have shortened or cancelled the tour in Between due to Personal Reasons.
