Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Paro - Thimphu

  The flight into Paro on our national carrier, Druk Air, is a befitting introduction to the spectacular beauty of our country. In clear weather, magnificent views of the world’s highest peaks, give way to the lush green Paro valley as you land. Your Bhutanese escort from Rabsel Nima Bhutan Adventure will greet you on arrival, and then drive you to the Capital city of Bhutan, Thimphu. The drive to Thimphu is of 1 hour.
  On arrival to Thimphu, we will have lunch and then sightseeing in Thimphu - visit to Memorial Chhorten, Buddha Statue, Changangkha Lhakhang, Mothithang mini zoo to see the National Animal of Bhutan (Takin), Zulikha Nunnery, Folk Heritage Museum. Lunch in Thimphu town. After lunch, we will visit Paper Factory, Weaving Center and then Handicraft Emporium. Evening at Leisure.
  Overnight at Druk Hotel in Thimphu.

• Day 2 : Thimphu - Paro Sightseeing

  After breakfast drive to Paro and visit:
  National Museum of Bhutan - At the top of the hill above Paro Dzong is an old watchtower that was renovated in 1968 to house the National Museum.
  Paro Rimpung Dzong - the center of civil and religious authority in this region.
  
  Kyichu Lhakhang - one of Bhutan's oldest and most beautiful temples. The temple is popularly believed to have been built in 659 by King Songtsen Gampo of Tibet, to pin down the left foot of a giant ogress who was thwarting the establishment of Buddhism into Tibet.
  Drugyel Dzong - 14km from Paro Town, stand the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong. This dzong was built in 1649 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in a location chosen for its control of the route to Tibet. The dzong was named 'Druk' (Bhutan)'gyel' (victory).
  
  Overnight stay at Raven’s Nest at Paro.

  • Hotspots : National Museum

• Day 3 : Paro - Hike to Taktsang Monastery

  After early breakfast, hike to the view point of Taktshang (Tiger’s Nest) monastery. We have to walk about 2hours & 30minutes up steep from the road end. The trail climbs through beautiful pine forest, many of the trees festooned with Spanish moss, and an occasional grove of fluttering prayer flags. After enjoying the view & photographs, and refreshment at the viewpoint (Taktshang Cafeteria) walk up for another 1 hour and then visit Taktsang Monastery.
  Lunch will be served at the Taktsang Cafeteria and then walk down to road point. Evening leisure.
  
  Overnight stay at Raven’s Nest at Paro.

• Day 4 : Departure

  
  
  Drive to Paro International Airport for your return flight. Your Guide and Driver will bid you fare well here at the Airport to your onwards destination. We wish you a very safe and pleasant journey back to your country. We will hope to see you again.
