Leave by surface to Agra (200 kms, 4 hrs) and on arrival transfer to hotel. Post lunch: City tour of Agra including Taj Mahal. (Taj Mahal is closed on Friday) Taj Mahal: It has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, the emperor was heart broken when his wife Mumtaz died. It is completely built out of white marble. Agra Fort: The construction of the fort was commenced during the reign of Emperor Akbar and the additions were made till the time of his grandson Shah Jahan. Leave by surface to Jaipur (230 kms, 5 hrs) en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fathepur Sikri: It was the capital of Emperor Akbar but the city was abandoned dramatically mainly due to lack of water. Arrive Jaipur and transfer to hotel. Night halt at Jaipur.
After breakfast City tour. City Palace: The palace is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. A part of palace has been converted into museum. It has an impressive collection of arts, carpets, enamelware and weapons. Jantar Mantar: Raja Jai Singh built this observatory. Post lunch Excursion to Amber fort and joy elephant ride. Amber Fort: Raja Man Singh the Rajput commander of Akbar's army constructed the fortress palace in the end of 16th century. The fort is superb example of Rajput architecture, stunning situated on a hilltop, overlooking a lake.
