Gypsy Cultural Tour of Rajasthan India.
Discover the real Culture of Rajasthan, India through my Gypsy cultural tour, based on my research project “Folk Culture of Rajasthan India”.
My aim is based on helping Indian as well foreign guest to discover Folk Culture of Gypsy’s of Rajasthan viewing from a \"tourist\" eye. All of my travel services are coordinated with local social workers of different tribes. My main concern is to share my knowledge & make my guest comfortable and pass him/her all the knowledge I have on my country in order to promote Gypsy Culture and gain another \"goodwill ambassador\" abroad. Because this kind of service would be the one that I\'d look when I travel difference of the Indian language, if you\'re planning a visit to GYPSY CULTURE of Rajasthan-india.
This Gypsy tour is available for invidious as well groups, Duration of this tour is as per itinerary but minimum is one week.

Gypsy:
Kalbeliya:
The Kalbeliya Gypsy people are known as the snake charmer caste. The women are skilled dancers and are accompanied by men playing percussion and wind instruments. The Kalbeliya were once hired to entertain great kings and maharajahs. Today they are sadly considered to be squatters and experience much discrimination. They struggle to preserve their culture and dances. They follow Indian fairs and festivals hoping to get hired to perform dances in hotels and private resorts.
Rebaries:
The Rebaris are mostly shepherd, and some of them possess flocks and herds of their own; many are farmers. Animal Husbandry is main source of income. They are mostly vegetarian and allow widow re marriage. They are nomadic, and spend most of their time wandering with their herds.
Bhopa:
In Rajasthan it is not uncommon to see people with green eyes. Among the lowest castes are the Bopa and Kalbeliya Gypsies. In spite of their low status, these beautiful people are proud of their roots. Both Kalbeliya and Bopa people make a living by performing songs and dances. In recent decades, the Maharajahs have gone and Indian and foreign tourists have replaced the royal audiences.
