Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 - Arrival to Delhi

Check in Hotel.

Day 2 - Delhi to Mussoorie 325 Kms. / 9 Hr.

Leave after early breakfast. Drive to Mussoorie through Hardwar. Lunch at Chetal Grand. Check in Hotel at Mussoorie.

Day 3 - Mussoorie to Taluka 172 Kms. / 6 Hrs.

Drive to Taluka through the beautiful valley of Purola. Check in TRH/Tentage.

Day 4 - Taluka to Osla 13 Kms. / 4 Hrs.

Osla has very dense forests of Walnut, Chestnut & Willow. TRH/Tentage.

Day 5 - Osla to Har-Ki-Doon 14 Kms. / 5 Hrs.

The walk is through lush green terraced fields, grassy lands and very thick conifer forests. It is one of the most picturesque spots in the Garhwal Hills.

Day 6 - Har-Ki-Doon to Lal Pathar 16 Kms. / 8 Hrs.

A hard day's walk to Lal Pathar 4250 m.

Day 7 - Lal Pathar to Base Camp 12 Kms. / 8 Hrs.

A difficult uphill walk of 7-8 Hrs. to the base camp 4545 m.

Day 8 - Base Camp to Camp Site 1

This is the common catchments area for Yamuna and Baspa (flowing through Sangla Valley). The Barsu Pass has to be crossed early in the morning. The pass at 5150 m offers excellent panoramic view of the Dhauladhar range.

Day 9 - Camp Site 1 to Ranikanda 16 Kms./ 7 Hrs.

Steep and then gradual downhill walk to the grasslands of Ranikanda on the banks of river Baspa 19 Kms / 1 Hr.

Day 10 - Ranikanda to Chitkul 21 Km / 7 Hrs.

Ranikanda to Chitkul 21 Km / 7 Hrs.
Very gradual downhill walk along river Baspa with side of Sangla Valley. Chitkul 3450 m is the last village on the old Indo Tibetan trade route.

Day 11 - Chitkul to Kalpa 76 Kms. / 3 Hrs.

Kalpa came to the knowledge of the outside world through Kipling's Kim. Kalpa offers fabulous panoramic view of the 6000 m high Kinner Kailash range rising 2000 m from the Sutlej riverbed flowing below.

Day 12 - Kalpa to Tabo 165 Kms. / 6 Hrs.

Visit Nako enroute. Night stay in Camp.

Day 13 - Tabo

Visit 1001 year old Tabo monastery in the morning. After lunch, visit Pin Valley.

Day 14 - Tabo to Kaza 42 Kms. / 2 Hrs.

Visit Ki monastery and Kibber - one of the highest motorable village in the world. Check in Hotel.

Day 15 - Kaza to Manali 201 Kms. / 10 Hrs.

Drive to Manali via 4551 m high Kunzum Top and 3978 m high Rohtang Pass. Check into Hotel.

Day 16 - Manali

Day at leisure / local sight-seeing.

Day 17 - Manali to Dellhi 550 Kms. / 14 Hrs.

After early breakfast, drive to Delhi via Chandigarh.
