Mt Stok Kangri, a 6121 meters peak is one of the main peaks of the Zanskar Range, situated in the region of Ladakh. The south ridge offers an exhilarating climb, although straightforward, the route is challenging and interesting, providing stunning views of Karakoram Range and on a clear day, even the 2nd highest peak K2. Mt Stok Kangri is a non-technical & a trekking peak, a perfect peak for those who love mountains but are not trained mountaineers. The approach to the peak is from the Stok village and Base Camp at 16000 ft.
Mt Chamser Kangari and Mt Lungser Kangri are the adjacent peaks at the lake of Tso Moriri; the former referred as the worship peak and the later the golden peak. Mt Chamser Kangari is also the 3rd highest peak in the Ladakh region and is a non-technical peak.
