Jammu and Kashmir is a state in northern India. It is located mostly in the Himalayan mountains, and shares a border with the states of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab to the south.Jammu city lies at uneven ridges of low heights at the Shivalik hills. It is surrounded by Shivalik range to the north, east and southeast while the Trikuta Range surrounds it in the north-west.

Tourism is the largest industry in Jammu as in the rest of the state. It is also a focal point for the pilgrims going to Vaishno Devi and Kashmir valley as it is second last railway terminal in North India. All the routes leading to Kashmir, Poonch, Doda and Laddakh start from Jammu city. So throughout the year the city remains full of people from all the parts of India. Places of interest include old historic palaces like Mubarak Mandi, Purani Mandi, Rani Park, Amar Mahal, Bahu Fort, Raghunath Temple, Ranbireshwar Temple, Karbala, Peer Meetha, Old city and a number of shopping places, fun parks, etc.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jammu - Katra Vaishno Devi

  Arrive Jammu Airport / Rly Stn, transfer to Katra, check in the Hotel,start trekking 13 KM for Mata Vaishnodevi Darshan, you can hire horse or Palki also from the shrine board. Enjoy get together with your travel companions. "Jai Mata Di".

• Day 2 : Katra Local

  After Coming from Yatra and Fresh up, go for Local Sight Seen in Katra.

  After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Shiv Khodi and evening back in Katra Hotel.

  Today breakfast proceed for in and around sightseeing of Patnitop, Visit Natha Top, Nag Temple,children park, Sanasar and at evening back at Hotel in Patnitop.

• Day 6 : Patnitop - Jammu

  After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Jammu via Mansar Lake, Chichi Mata Temple and visit to Bagh-e-Bahu and night stay in Hotel in Jammu.

• Day 7 : Jammu

  After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to local sightseen and shoping. At evening Drop Jammu Rly. Station.
