Package Overview

Few places in India are at once so traveler-friendly and yet so enchanting and hassle-free as mountain-framed Leh. Dotted with stupas and crumbling mud-brick houses, the Old Town is dominated by a dagger of steep rocky ridge topped by an imposing Tibetan-style palace and fort. Topographically, the whole of the district is mountainous with three parallel ranges of the Himalayas, the Zanskar, the Ladakh and the Karakoram. Between these ranges, the Shayok, Indus and Zanskar rivers flow and most of the population lives in valleys of these rivers.
Leh’s a place that’s all too easy to fall in love with, but take things easy on arrival. The altitude means that most visitors initially suffer mild headaches and breathlessness. To prevent this becoming full-blown Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), drink plenty of ginger tea and avoid strenuous exertion at first. Climbing Palace Ridge or Shanti Stupa on your first two days in Leh is unwise unless you’re already altitude-acclimatised. Similarly it’s wise to wait before trekking or taking jeep excursions over high passes (to Nubra or Pangong). Pangong Tso is in disputed territory. The Line of Actual Control passes through the lake.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Pick Up From Leh Airport Drive To Hotel

Arrival Leh Kushok Bakula Airport (This must be one of the Most Sensational Flights in the World. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif.) Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize followed by Welcome tea or Coffee at the Hotel. Evening Visit to Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2 : Local Sightseeing At Leh Of Monasteries

Post Breakfast we proceed for Indus Valley Monastery Starting with Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism, Thicksey Monastery an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh, 3 Idiots Rancho School & Sindhu Ghat. After visiting above places we drive back to Leh. Evening at Leisure to explore the city on your own. Dinner & Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 3 : Excursion & Local Sightseeing At Pangong Lake

After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. The long easy ascent takes you to Changla pass through its winding roads passing through Sakti Village. Stop at the Changla Pass for a quick photograph session and drive down to the village of Tangtse, where you can relax for a cup of tea. Leaving Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages of Changthang and finally you can have a sudden view of the Pangong lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the "INDO CHINA BORDER". One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After the success of 3 Idiots, this beautiful natural location has attracted more tourists from all over the world. After spending some time at Pangong We drive back to Leh in the late afternoon. Day 4 : Sham Valley Excursion

After breakfast you drive downstream along the River Indus on Leh - Kargil Highway. And start our sightseeing with Hall of Fame (Museum Constructed by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, A drive of another 4 km took us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reached the Confluence Of The Indus And Zanskar River. After visiting above places we drive back to Leh enroute visiting Spituk Monastery, Built in 15th century during the reign of Grags ‘bum-lde, these new Gelug-pa monastery was built like fortress on the summit of crags. Day 5 : Local Sightseeing & Excursion And Khardung La

Post Breakfast we drive to Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road in The World) at 5,602 Mtrs. / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. The views from the top of the pass are amazing. Return to the hotel on time for lunch. In the afternoon you can stroll around the market place for some last minute souvenir shopping. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.

The package can’t be clubbed with any other offer/deal.

Package inclusions and itinerary can’t be change/negotiate.

All transfers, excursions, sightseeing and travel as per itinerary.

Service Tax would be charged extra as per the govt. rule (as applicable).

The package can’t be booked for a single person; it is for 6 adults only.

Local sightseeing as per the itinerary depends on the local weather conditions.

Refund on cancellation depends upon the concerned hotel’s cancellation policies.

Guests are not allowed to drive the cab, provided for the above mentioned itinerary.

The above package is not valid during the festival season, national holidays, long weekends, and New Year.

Per person rates (in Rs.), and applicable on 6 persons on twin sharing basis. (Maximum 2 adults per room are allowed).

In case of delay in departure occur by guest, cab extra charges will be charge to the guest. Cab will be available till 12 am of last day of booked package.

Guests are not allowed to drink (alcohol)/smoke / do any other illegal activities as per the Indian laws inside the cab, provided for the above mentioned itinerary.

One Child between 0 to 4 years is complimentary (without bed) after that each child between 0 to 4 years 50% of per person package cost without extra bed, child between 4 To 12 years will be charged 70% of the per person package cost with extra bed ( mattress ) sharing the same room with parents, beyond 12 years 100% per person package cost will be charged with extra bed (mattress) sharing the same room with parents and we request our guest to declare the actual age of the child at the time booking.
