Day 1 - Delhi (Arrival) As you arrive at Delhi airport your Himalayan hill station tour starts. Meet our representative on arrival and drive to the hotel. Take the rooms and rest till evening. In the evening go on a drive to have a view of flamboyant Delhi. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 - Delhi Both New Delhi and Old Delhi has lots of sightseeing attractions. New Delhi is the creation of the British architect Lord Lutyen who designed the portrait of the capital city. Be it the India Gate or the President’s House, the colonial architecture are worth seeing. The main attractions in New Delhi are Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Akshardham temple, Old Fort, India Gate, Gandhi Memorial, etc. Old Delhi has Mughal heritage, like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and the Chandi Chowk market.
Day 3 - Delhi–Chandigarh (250 Kms – 05 hrs) Drive to Chandigarh, the capital city of Punjab state. It is the first planned city of India after independence. On arrival take a hotel. Then visit the Rose Garden and the Rock Garden. Don’t miss a Boat Ride along the Sukhna Lake. Also visit the Leisure Valley, Government Museum, Art Gallery and International Dolls Museum.
Day 4 - Chandigarh -Amritsar (340 Kms – 6.5 hrs) Check out and drive to Amritsar. This is the city which houses the Golden Temple, the main spiritual headquarter of Sikhs. On arrival at the city take the hotel. Check in at a hotel. In the late afternoon visit the Wagah Border which shares India’s border with Pakistan. Then return back to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 5 - Amritsar - Dharamshala (200 Kms – 05 hrs) After having breakfast, explore the Golden Temple tour located in middle of the Amrit Sagar Lake. The major religious centre of the Sikhs, the architecture of Golden temple is worth seeing. The exteriors of the temple are gold plated, hence it is known as Golden Temple. Thereafter, proceed to Jallianwala Bagh, a national monument built in memory of the Indian civilians who lost their lives in the great massacre of 1919.
Day 6 - Dharamshala After having breakfast you would explore the attractions of Dharamsala. The town hub Mcleodgunj is the residence of HH Dalai Lama. There are lots of local shops full of local handicrafts. Visit the famous Namgayal Monastery and Bhagsunath temple. Also tour the St John Church and the Tibetan Children Village Institute which has a well-stocked library having manuscripts and texts on Tibet. Have some Tibetan cuisine in dinner.
Day 7 - Dharamshala - Manali (250 Kms 07 hrs) On the 7th day of Himalayan hill station tour, drive to Manali, a beautiful hill station located at the northern end of Kullu Valley. This hill station offers spectacular views of snow capped peaks and wooded slopes. On arrival take an accommodation. The rest of the day is at leisure. Evening visit Mall Road.
Day 8 - Manali Manali hill station is awfully beautiful. It is one of the most preferred hill stations in north India. It is said to be the home of Saptarishi, the seven sages. Being a spot for adventure tourists, Manali is a heaven for the adventure buffs.
Day 9 - Manali – Rohtang – Lahaul – Jispa – Sarchu (220 Kms – 07 hrs) After breakfast, check out and drive to Sarchu. Enroute you will cross the Rohtang Pass (13050 ft), Lahaul Valley, Tandi, Keylong, Jispa. You will also cross the Baralacha Pass located at a height of 16020 feet. By evening you will reach Sarchu and take the hotel.
Day 10 - Sarchu–Pang–Leh (250 Kms– 08 hrs) Your Leh Ladakh tour will take you to Leh, the capital of Ladakh Hill Council. In the early morning drive to Leh enroute passing through the Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. By afternoon you will reach Pang. Have lunch.
Day 11 - Leh - Pangong Lake (160 Kms – 5 hrs)
Day 12 - Pangong Lake - Leh (160 Kms - 6 hrs) After having breakfast, return back to Leh town. Enroute you would visit the Hemis, Thikse Monastery and Shey Palace. Then reach the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. You can explore the local markets and the lifestyle of the Tibetan tribes. Dinner and stay overnight.
Day 13 - Leh - Nubra Valley (120 Kms - 5 hrs) On the 13th day of Leh Ladakh with Himalayan hill station tour, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft).
Day 14 - Nubra Valley–Leh (120 Kms - 5 hrs) After breakfast, visit the Deskit monastery, the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery at Nubra Valley. It is a sub-Gompa of Thikse monastery. Then drive back to Leh on the same route. On arrival check in at a hotel for your last night stay.
Day 15 - Leh - Delhi (Flight) On the last day of Ladakh tour with Himalayan hill stations, take the flight to Delhi and then your onward flight.
