Nagaland Tribal Tour

Arrive Dibrugarh airport and upon arrival transfer to tea guest house. Later visit a tea garden. Also visit local market. Overnight at guest house.

After breakfast drive to Mon in Nagaland. This district is inhabited by the Konyak Tribe with a sizable number of AO Nagas. Check into Circuit House on arrival. In the afternoon visit Chui village. Return back to Mon. Overnight at guest house.

After breakfast visit TOTOK. Here people are seen in ethnic wears including beads and ear rings. Later we visit WAKCHING and WANCHING villages. Return back to Mon. Overnight at guest house.

After early breakfast we proceed to LONGWA village on the India - Burma border. True tradition is seen here where people are still not touched by modern ways. Lunch at the village. Meet village folk, see their way of life. Return back to Mon in the evening. Overnight at guest house.

After breakfast proceed to Mokokchung in north-central Nagaland. This district is inhabited by the AO TRIBE. On reaching Mokokchung check into Circuit House. Overnight at guest house.

After breakfast drive to Motumchuket village. Meet village folk, see their customs. In the afternoon go to UNGMA village south of Mokokchung. Meet more village folk, see their custom. Overnight at guest house.

After breakfast proceed to Longkhum village. Met by the village head, we will be escorted by him through the village. Enjoy Ao dance while you are having your lunch. From here we will drive to Touphema village 5 hours away. On arrival check into neatly appointed huts built in the Angami Naga style. Overnight at huts.

Visit TOUPHEMA village and then proceed to Kohima. Upon arrival check into Hotel. Later visit museum and market. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast drive to Khonoma village, a place renowned for its valour and courage. The Khonoma gate tells the story of British infiltration into Naga hills. Later, visit the famous war cemetery, a war memorial of the soldiers of the Allied forces killed during World War II. Overnight at guest house.

Visit the southern villages inhabited by the Angami tribe. See their traditional way of life. Enjoy an Angami dance while you have your dinner. Overnight at guest house.

After breakfast transfer to Dimapur airport for onward connection.
