Yes, Pathankot is well connected by broad gauge network of Indian Railway. Dalhousie hill station is spread over 5 low-level hills at the western edge of the Dhauladhar range. Dalhousie is also known as gateway to the Chamba Valley. Dalhousie hill station was established in 1854 by the British governor-general Lord Dalhousie. Dalhousie covers an area of 14 square kilometer. Dalhousie has attractive architecture and panoramic scenic views of plains as well as white capped views of the mountainous ranges. Popular tourist places at Dalhousie are : Subhash Baoli, Sapt Dhara, Panjpulla and Gandhi Chowk.

Khajjiar is little out of Dalhousie and basically located in Chamba district. Khajjiar is a beautiful and charming place that makes an ideal day excursion or even an overnight visit. Khajjiar is far from major town Dalhousie. This tourist spot has a small lake in the centre, on which is a floating island. This small lake rests in the centre of the large glade of Khajjiar. Khajjiar has been named after Khajjinag. A temple dedicated to Khajjinag is also located there. Khajjiar has thick forests of Kalatop sanctuary. Khajjiar is like a magical paradise. Khajjiar is also popularly known as "Mini Switzerland". The lake remains full of water in all the seasons. A lot of tourists travel to Khajjiar for its wealth of sights, cultural exuberance and diversity of terrain. Travelling from Dalhousie to Khajjiar is a nice experience as you drive through the beautiful Bakrota Hills. The whole journey between Dalhousie and Khajjiar is enjoyable because the road leads you through the magnificent Deodar forests. Day 1 -

After Receiving from Chakki bank railway station (Pathankot) travel to Dalhousie and night stay at the hotel after evening sight view.

Day 2 -

After breakfast starting the day with a tour of local sites of Dalhousie like Sapt Dhara, Panjpulla, Gandhi Chowk, Subhash Chowk and ending the day with a return to hotel.

Day 3 -

After breakfast travel to Khajjiar and Kalatop with the night stay at hotel.

Day 4 -

After breakfast at Khajjiar travel to Chamba. After tour of Local sights, night stay at Chamba.

Day 5 -

After breakfast tour to dam site and drop back at Chakki Bank railway station.
