Walking around Pragpur - The countryside is ideal for low-level treks and walks. Those interested in nature study and bird watching will get their fill. The Beas River is within 6 kms. Picnics and visits to local historical sites and monuments can be arranged and hours can be spent exploring nearby Garli (lovely old houses in Simla architecture) and Pragpur (cobbled streets and ancestral homes).
Angling at Pragpur - The picturesque Kangra valley has several spots that offer mahaseer river carp. The reservoir of the Maharana Pratap Sagar right up to the town of Dehra has good spots. Nadaun along the river Beas has some good beats, besides Chamba Pattan near Garli (accessible from Nadaun or Jwalamukhi), Amtar (2 km from Nadaun), Harsi Pattan (30 km from Tira Sujanpur) and Lambagaon (15 km from Tira Sujanpur).

Pragpur - Pragpur, India’s first heritage village lies in Kangra valley in Himachal Pradesh. The famous Kangra School of painting has its base here in this village.
Day 1 : Arrive at Chandigarh. Proceed to Pragpur
Arrive at Chandigarh and proceed to Pragpur (170 kms - 4 hours). Pragpur is a designated heritage village known for its crafts and heritage character. Pragpur has held onto the essence of an earlier era - unchanged shops, cobbled streets, ornamental village tank, mud plastered and slate roofed houses. A walk around the village is recommended.
Day 2 : Adventure / Excursions / walks / temple visits around the area.
Guests have a large platter of option to choose from based on area of interest. There are several trekking options around the area (half day soft treks). There are number of walks (Half day) that allows guests to explore the surroundings. There are number of interesting small temples that are full of character and views and worth a visit.
Day 3 : Maharana Pratap Sagar excursion or village walk or trekking
Guests looking for a bit of adventure can do an excursion to Maharana Pratap Sagar (20 kms) where watersports such as water-skiing, surfing, kayaking, rowing, canoeing etc are available. Guests otherwise have options to pursue what could not be done the previous day. Guests with interest in heritage and archeology also have an option of visiting Masroor Rock cut temples (Full day excursion).
Day 4 : Departure
Depart for onward journey.
