Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi

Airport pickup (usually during the night). Transfer and overnight in hotel.

Day 2 - Delhi - Jaipur (5 Hrs - 260 Kms)

We head for Jaipur, the Pink City. Settle into hotel. Walking tour of the bustling old city. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3 - Jaipur

Morning tour of Amber Fort. Return to Jaipur. Afternoon stroll through the various bazaars. Overnight in hotel.

Day 4 - Jaipur - Agra (5 Hrs - 230 Kms)

Jaipur - Agra by road. Stop off in the ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri, 40 km west of Agra. Continue on to Agra. Check into hotel. Visit Red Fort. Overnight in hotel.

Day 5 - Agra - Orchha (5 Hrs - 180 Kms)

Dawn visit of the fabulous Taj Mahal. Continue by road to Orchha. En route visit Gwalior Fort and the Hindu temples at Datia. Check into hotel in Orchha and spend night there.

Day 6 - Orchha - Khajuraho (4 Hrs - 175 Kms)

Set off for Khajuraho. Settle into hotel and visit the temples renowned for their erotic sculptures, set in lush countryside. Overnight in hotel.

Day 7 - Khajuraho - Varanasi (8/9 Hrs - 175 Kms)

Very long journey by road to Varanasi, one of the holiest towns in the Hindu religion. Check into and spend night in hotel for a well deserved rest: the road to Varanasi leaves much to be desired!

Day 8 - Varanasi

Visit the town with its famous ghats lining the banks of the Ganges, the holiest river in India for Hindus. Option of a dawn boat trip on the Ganges and an excursion to the legendary Buddhist village of Sarnath (20 km from Varanasi). Overnight in hotel.

Day 9 - Varanasi - Flight to Delhi

Morning free in Varanasi. Transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Airport pickup. Transfer and overnight in hotel.

Day 10 - Delhi - International Airport

Visit Delhi : Transfer to international airport during the evening.
