  • Day 1: Arrive in Cochin

On arrival at the Cochin airport, get assistance from a Hungry Bags representative who will drive you to the designated hotel. Check-in at the hotel after reaching, and sleep the night away.

Day 2: Drive from Cochin to Munnar (135 km/approx. 5 hours)

After a scrumptious breakfast, drive to the stunning hill station of Munnar and check-in at the hotel upon arrival. Travellers may spend the rest of the day in exploring different various facets of this popular hill station. Munnar is situated at a height of 1600 m, at the confluence of three streams - Nallathanni, Muthirapuzha and Kundala. Famed for its picturesque beauty, this erstwhile summer resort of the British is dotted with expansive tea gardens, colonial edifices, pristine rivulets and enchanting waterfalls. In addition to its natural marvels, Munnar offers ample opportunities for adventure activities like trekking and mountain biking. Retire to the hotel by night for a few moments of repose.

    Day 3: Sightseeing in Munnar

After breakfast at the hotel, undertake an excursion to the Eravikulam National Park and Anamudi Peak. The park, spread over an area of 97 sq. km, is home to various rare species like the Nilgiri Tahr, colloquially known as the Mountain Goat. It is perhaps the only destination in the world that has an endemic plant Neelakurinji, which blooms once in 12 years. Another highlight of this park is the Anamudi Peak, which rises to a height of over 2700 m. It would be really interesting for tourists to trek up to this highest peak in South India. After an insightful visit to the national park, visit the breathtaking Nyayamakad Waterfalls. Its milky white water cascades down from a height of 1600 m and gives a mesmerising effect. Surrounded by lush flora, this site serves as the perfect picnic and trekking spot. Tourists may also indulge in angling at Gravel Banks, a trout fishing site, in a remote corner of the Nyayamakad Estate. After this exciting tour, proceed to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Drive from Munnar to Thekkady (130 km/approx. 4 hours)

Post breakfast, leave the hotel and drive to Thekkady. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for a while. Thekkady is synonymous to uninterrupted hills, rich biodiversity and spice plantations. The place is best known for the Periyar National Park, which is much-famed as the habitat of the endangered tigers. In the afternoon, you can explore the spice plantation (surcharge) sprawling across Periyar forests. Thereafter, retire to the hotel room for the night.

Day 5: Drive from Thekkady to Kumarakom (156 km/approx. 5 hours)

After relishing your morning meal at the hotel, embark on a road journey to Kumarakom. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend the day at leisure. Kumarakom is an alluring backwater destination that offers a number of leisure options for travellers, such as boating and fishing. It is also famed as a haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian Stork that come here in flocks. Stay overnight at the hotel.

    Day 6: Depart from Cochin

Following breakfast, proceed to the Cochin Airport to board a flight back home.
