Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 -

Pick up from NJP Railway Stn./Bagdogra airport. Meeting/ Assistance and drive to Gangtok. (4 hrs.) Arrive Gangtok./Check in hotel. Evening free/ Take a walk at the Mall. Stay O/N.

Day 2 -

A leisure day in Gangtok visiting places of tourist interest including famous Enchey Monastery, Tibetology, Institute of Cottage Industry, Dro-Drul Chorten, Rope way and world famous Rumtek Monastery. Return Back to Gangtok. Evening walk at the Mall or shopping/leisure. Stay O/N. (half day)

Day 3 -

A easy excursion to Tsomgo Lake situated at the Indo-Tibet border at an altitude of 11,400ft. (option to have an experience of Yak ride here). Enjoy the serene beauty of the lake and return back to Gangtok. Stay O/N. (half to full day)

Day 4 -

Drive from Gangtok to Pelling in West Sikkim. Arrive Pelling. Check in hotel. Evening take a pleasant walk enjoying the sun set over Mt. Khangchendzonga . Stay O/N. (5 hrs. drive)

Day 5 -

Early morning enjoy the sun rise over mountain ranges/after breakfast visit Pemayangtse monastery and enjoy the views of the hills of West Sikkim and the mountain ranges in the background, Visit Rabdentse Palace Ruins- the second capital of Sikkim , option to take a walk up to Sangacholing monastery. Evening at leisure. Stay O/N. (half to full day)

Day 6 -

Drive from Pelling to Yuksam- the first capital of Sikkim in 1941 A.D, on the way visit Khanchendzonga falls and Khecopalri Lake- a lake sacred to the Sikkimese people and also popularly called as “Wishing Lake”. Drive further to Yuksam. Arrive Yuksam .Check in hotel. Afternoon take a walk to Norbugang Chorten and Coronation throne of 1st King of Sikkim. Stay O/N.

Day 7 -

Hiking day to Dubdi monastery- the oldest monastery in Sikkim through the forest trail. On return visit Kyongtey village and see village life and interact with the local people. If desired , we can keep a cultural meet with the locals here where Children can learn about village life and trekking routes in Kanchendzonga National Park about Yuksam. Pl. Note: We have Youth adventure Exchange Camp,, so under this we can have some kind of cultural exchange programme or light- rock climbing program.

Day 8 -

Drive from Pemayangtse to Kalimpong. Arrive hotel. Check in. Evening free. Walk at the town. Stay O/N.

Day 9 -

Half day sight seeing of Kalimpong and drive to Darjeeling . Arrive Darjeeing. Check in hotel. Stay O/N.

Day 10 -

Early morning visit Tiger Hill. Return back to Hotel for breakfast. Visit Tibetan Self help Centre, Himalayan Zoological Park , Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Happy Valley Tea Estate etc. Stay O/N.

Day 11 -

After breakfast drive to NJP Rly. Stn or Bagdogra airport. Drop at airport or railway station. (5 hrs). (Tour ends).
