Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 - Arrive at Guwahati

Transfer from airport to Landmark Hotel. Evening visit the Shankardev Kalashetra (12kms / 45mins) - a cultural centre with a fine disposition of the life and culture of the people of Assam. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 - Guwahati - Shillong

After breakfast check out from the hotel
Visit the Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10kms/30mins), it is suggested that a special entry pass for the Temple is obtained prior to the visit to avoid waiting time. To obtain this special entry pass please select the Optional Service accordingly Thereafter drive to Shillong (110kms/3hrs) which is in the state of Meghalaya - the abode of the clouds. Afternoon visit the local market and the lake in Shillong. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 - Shillong - Day trip to Cherrapunjee

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day trip to Cherrapunjee (56 kms/2 hours) - this a very scenic drive enabling one to see the cloud covered hills and the deep gorges. At Cherrapunjee visit the limestone caves and the waterfalls. After lunch, return to Shillong, reaching back by the evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 - Shillong - Guwahati

After breakfast visit the Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls (10kms/30mins) and the Museum. After lunch depart for Guwahati (110 kms/3 hours), reach in the evening Rest of the time free for leisure or shopping. Overnight at Landmark Hotel.

Day 5 - Depart from Guwahati

After breakfast departure transfer to Guwahati airport to board flight to onward destination.
