Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Delhi

  Arrive in Delhi, India. Upon arrival in the capital of India - Delhi, Limra Voyages Tours representative will greet and assist you to transfer you to the well-maintained & prestigious hotel, designated for you.
  
  DELHI - The capital city of modern India has behind it centuries of history, which has enriched its culture. Nowhere has tradition blended with modernity on a scale as evident in Delhi - age-old monuments stand check by jowl with ultra modern hi-rise buildings. Delhi has been the seat of power for centuries. Today old and new city combine to present a harmonious whole offering the traveller, elegant shops, broad laburnum lined avenues, sun warmed elegant forts and mosques that were once stronghold of Mughal powers and colourful bazaars. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Delhi

  Morning, full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. OLD DELHI - the 300-year-old walled city built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1648 as his capital and named after him, the Red Fort ( Closed on Mondays) built of red sandstone. Opposite the fort is the black and white onion dome and minarets of the Jama Masjid, the most elegant mosque in India. Then visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948.
  
  Afternoon, NEW DELHI - the new capital designed by Sir Edward Lutyens. Drive past the Presidential Palace, the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the secretariat buildings - the centre of all government activity and down the main avenue, the impressive Rajpath to the World War I memorial arch, the India Gate. Visit Humayun's Tomb built in 1565 AD by his grieving widow Haji Begum, the Qutub Minar, 72 metres high and the ruins of Quwat-ul-Eslam (Light of Islam) Mosque. See Delhi's most curious antique, the uncorroded Iron Pillar, which dates back to the 4th century AD.

• Day 3 : Delhi - Agra (206 km-4hr)

  Morning drive from Delhi to Agra en-route visit the Sikandra fort, a superb of Agra housing Emperor Akbar's Mausoleum. A drive of further 4 kms brings you to Agra city and Go Heritage India Journeys representative assist you with the check-in at the hotel. After fresh-up sightseeing tour to the imperial 'ghost city' Agra Fort and admire the Jehangir Mahal Khas Mahal for their grandeur and Sheesh Mahal for its amazing mirror work. For dinner tonight, Mughalai cuisine is served. Spend the night in the hotel.

• Day 4 : Agra via Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (260 kms - 5hr)

  Early morning with sunrise visit Taj Mahal. See the first rays of the sun light on the Taj Mahal. After breakfast visit the Itmad-Up-Daula's Tomb. Later drive to Jaipur en-route visit Old Deserted city of Mughal Dynasty- Fatehpur Sikri and then head towards Jaipur covering a distance of approximately 260 Kms in 5 hrs. On arrival in Jaipur, transfer to the hotel, freshen up and make a visit to the ethnic Chowki Dhanni village resort. Enjoy Rajasthani dinner at Chowki Dhani. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Jaipur

  Today on the fifth day a full day sightseeing of Jaipur. After breakfast you would be taken to Amber Fort, the former palace of the Rajput rulers of Jaipur. Bedecked elephants give joyous experience to travel to Amber fort. Later this afternoon you will visit the City Palace, where you will see delightful blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. Next you visit the Solar Observatory known as Jantar Mantar. Proceed towards the most renowned place in Jaipur Hawa Mahal. After lunch you can freak out around the local markets. Enjoy a fun-filled evening with cultural programs or mingle with local artists as you dine. Overnight at Jaipur.

• Day 6 : Jaipur - Delhi (265 km - 5 hr)

  Morning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive back to Delhi. Reach Delhi by afternoon and drop off either at a Hotel or the airport for your flight back home.
