In the morning drive to Rishikesh via Haridwar. Upon arrival at Rishikesh transfer to hotel. Evening free to visit Laxman Jhoola, witness Aarti at parmarth niketan. dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

In the morning drive to Guptaksahi via Devprayag(confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi. The holy riverGanges start from here) and Rudraprayag (confluence of Alaknanda & Mandakini). Lunch enroute.Arrivalat Gaurikund by evening. Dinner and overnightstay at luxery camps.

After breakfast drive upto Gaurikund and start your first day trek through the narrow lanes of Gaurikund and the entire walk of 14 km . The walk is over a well laid out path with ascend and descend at certain bends, gushing river Mandakini flows all along the trail.
