To the adventure lovers trekking in Sikkim is an experience of many dimensions. For sheer exhilaration nothing can match the view of the mountains, which seem to reach the heavens. As you wander up lush green trails you begin to amaze and wonder at the unspoilt natural splendor and dramatic terrain.

You may chance upon the shy Musk Deer to wave out to the exotic Red Panda perched among the tree- tops. Revel in the excitement of being part of a unique culture, a rich tapestry woven with legends, myths, rituals and festivals.

This trip takes you to Gangtok-a bustling town with the blend of tradition and modernity & further to famous Rumtek & Tashiding monastery and finally to the wind swept top of Gochala-la.

Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 -

Pick up from Bagdogra airport Or NJP & drive to Gangtok. Stay O/N at hotel. (4 hrs drive).

Day 2 -

A day in Gangtok visiting places of tourist interest including International Flower Show, Enchey Monastery, Institute of Cottage industry, Institute of Tibetology including famous Rumtek Monastery. (half day).

Day 3 -

Drive from Gangtok to Pelling/Pemayangtse. Stay O/N.

Day 4 -

Drive from Pelling/Pemayangtse to Reach Nambu / rimbik (Elevation - 1600 m.

Day 5 -

Nambu to chongri (Distance / Time- 7 km / 5 hours, Elevation - 2050 m).

Day 6 -

Chongri to Naya Patal (Distance / Time - 6 km / 4 hours, Elevation - 3000 m)

Day 7 -

Naya Patal to Lower Yambong (Distance / Time - 7 km / 5 hours, Elevation - 3300 m).

Day 8 -

Lower Yambong to Upper Yambong (Distance / Time - Distance / Time Elevation, Elevation - 3735 m).

Day 9 -

Rest at Upper Yambong, Visit Dafey bheer view point, (5100 mt), famous view point in singalila range, you can experience the view of both Mt. Everest and Mt. Khangchendzonga from this view point, it is surrounded with 6 lakes at the bottom. Visit for early sun rise and sun set view. You can also do a day visit to few lakes. (Distance / Time - 4 km / 4 hours to and from ( day visit) , Elevation - 5100 m).

Day 10 -

Upper Yambong to Gomathang (Distance / Time - 5 km / 4 hours,
Elevation -3735 m).

Day 11 -

Gomathang to Pangding (Distance / Time - 5 km / 4 hours, Elevation - 4210 m).

Day 12 -

Pangding to Dzongri (Distance / Time - 9 km / 6 hours, Elevation - 3735 m).

Day 13 -

Rest at Dzongri, sun rise and sun set view of mmt. Khangchendzonga.

Day 14 -

Dzongri to Lamune (Distance / Time - 7 km / 5 hours, Elevation - 4164 m).

Day 15 -

Lamune - Teen Kune -Thangsing (Distance / Time - 8 km / 7 hours, Elevation - 3936 m).
