Day 1 : Flight to Rio de Janeiro (Brazil)
Depart from USA to reach Rio de Janeiro. The City of Rio de Janeiro is nicknamed "the Marvellous City" and has been named a Global City. The city is Brazil's main tourist attraction and it also receives more international visits per year than any other city in South America with around 2.82 million. Rio de Janeiro is considered the cultural capital of Brazil because of its combination of historic and modern architecture, its more than 50 museums, popularity of music and literature, and its yearly Carnival celebration.
Day 2 : Rio de Janeiro – City Tour – Plataforma (Samba) Show
Arrive in Rio! After custom clearance we proceed for lunch. Later in the afternoon you will head for a guided city tour of Rio visiting downtown area, passing by the Financial and Business Center and other attractions such as the City Palace, Candelaria Church, Saint Sebastian Cathedral, Lapa Arches, Municipal Theatre, National Library, Fine Arts Museum, and by the Samba Rome, site of Rio's famous Carnival Parade. Later return to the hotel. Nightlife in Rio is considered one of the best in
the world and it's not to be missed. Here the night is filled with music and joy, and it makes the heart beat faster. After dinner passengers are taken to Plataforma show where a show of Samba and Folklore music with Brazilian dancers is performed. You will feel the energy and enchantment of the Carnival in Rio, the samba, the mulata dancers, a capoeira presentation and other
traditional Brazilian dances. You will be picked up at your hotel and driven back at the end of the tour.
Day 3 : Rio de Janeiro featuring Sugar Loaf Mountain & Christ the Redeemer – Boat Tour of Guanabara Bay
After a wholesome breakfast, we proceed for a Boat tour of Guanabara Bay, viewing the incredible “Wonder City” from its most famous bay. On 1st January, 1502, a Portuguese squad discovered Guanabara Bay. Being that it was the month of January and that the bay appeared to be a large river mouth, he named it Rio de Janeiro (River of January). Various sights and landmarks such
as the neighborhoods of Botafogo, Flamengo, Urca, Sugar Loaf Mountain, Fort Sao Joao, Flagstone Island, Santa Cruz Fortress, Rio-Niteroi Bridge and more will be seen as we depart from the Marina da Gloria. After lunch we proceed for touring around Sugar. Loaf Mountain - huge cone shaped rock made of granite rising 1300 feet high above water – landmark of Rio. Next stop on our list
is Corcovado Tour – enjoy breathtaking views, passing by some of Rio's popular beaches namely Copacabana & Ipanema and by. Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. Overnight stay in Rio de Janiero.
Day 4 : Rio de Janeiro – Iguassu Falls by air – Brazilian Side
Say Goodbye to Rio and board your flight for Iguassu. Upon arrival in Iguassu, transfer from the airport to Foz Do Iguacu home to the Brazilian National Park. Today enjoy the thrilling Iguassu Falls – A Natural Wonder of the World from Brazilian side. Taller than Niagara Falls and wider than Victoria Falls, these waterfalls and the river are both considered a World Heritage site due to
their tremendous beauty as well as the biodiversity. Iguassu River has a total of 275 independent falls spread throughout Brazil and Argentina sides. Later transfer to hotel.
Day 5 : Iguassu Falls from Argentina Side
Enjoy a hot breakfast at the hotel. This morning we proceed to the Argentinean side of Iguassu Falls. You will make a short stop at the Visitor’s Center and proceed from there along to the Inferior Circuit, the Down-River Falls, to the Superior Circuit, the Up-River Cascades. The Ecological Jungle Train leads you to the most impressive observation point of the falls - The Devil´s Throat. This is the tallest falls amongst the 275 falls that comprises Iguassu Falls. As we walk out to the Devil’s Throat, we pass a huge number of colorful birds, butterflies and a few voracious coatis. Have plenty of time to collect your memories in your camera.
Day 6 : Buenos Aires (Argentina)
After a delicious breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival in Buenos Aires enjoy lunch then proceed for a brief orientation tour of Buenos Aires. We spend some time on Florida Street for shopping. We will enjoy an unforgettable night, surrender to the magic of this city that never sleeps and to the charm of this overwhelming and sanguine music
—main protagonist of the night— while enjoying the best of its varied gastronomic offer. Dinner and Tango Show.
Day 7 : Buenos Aires – City Tour
After breakfast, proceed for full day city tour of Buenos Aires. The tour includes the National Congress, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Old Italian Street, Pink Palace, Rose Garden, The Soccer Stadium, Government House and the area of Plaza de Mayo. Then you will visit La Boca a colorful suburb – today’s home for important artists. Your next visit is to Palermo Floralis –
A Solar Powered Flower. Today’s final destination is sophisticated Recoleta, one of the most exclusive neighborhood in which among other attractions, you can take a look at the famous cemetery alongside fine restaurants and cafes.
Day 8 : Buenos Aires (Argentina) to Lima (Peru) – Lima City Tour by air
Breakfast at Hotel. Transfer from Hotel to airport for your flight to Lima. The capital and largest city of Peru, Lima is characterized by its historic center, archeological sites, nightlife, museums, art galleries, festivals and traditions. Arrive in Lima, proceed for lunch. A Professional Local City Guide leads you on An Extensive Tour of both Modern and Colonial Lima. During this tour you
will visit many points of Interest such as the Main Square - Plaza Mayor (founded in 1535 by Francisco Pizarro, Conqueror of Peru), The Government Palace, The City Hall, The Cathedral, The House Of El Oidor, Colonial Architectural Jewels, such as Torre Tagle Palace - a beautiful Mansion Dating Back To The 18th Century. Also visit the world-famous Miraflores – a district
famous for shopping area, gardens, flower-filled parks and beaches.
Day 9 : Lima (Peru) to Cuzco (Peru) by air
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cuzco. In the afternoon enjoy a guided visit to the Four Ruins. The Sacsayhuaman Fortress overlooking The City Of Cuzco, A Pre Inca Architectural Masterpiece; Kenko, A Rock Sanctuary whose main attraction is the Monolithic Altar representing a Puma, The Red Fortress of Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay. a beautiful fountain fed by a Spring forming a Series of basins continue to the city of Cuzco; The Main Square, The Cathedral and The Koricancha or Temple Of The Sun. Later return to your Hotel.
Day 10 : Cuzco – Machu Picchu (Peru)
Breakfast. Today’s schedule is an early transfer to the railway station for the train to Machu Picchu. We take four-hour scenic train ride to the Peruvian town of Aguas Calientes. Transfer to a bus for a brief journey to the much-visited archaeological site of Machu Picchu. There's a reason why this awesome complex is celebrated, loved and mused over by historians, travelers, stargazers and mystics alike - it is simply one of the most astounding places on earth! Built at the height of the Inca Empire,
it is widely believed that this place served as an estate for the Inca emperor Pachacuti. You can walk to the Sun Gate for sweeping views of the area below or wander the stone path of the Inca Bridge. Don't forget to capture the beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, as there are loads of photo-worthy moments waiting around every corner! By 4pm, it's time to make the return journey to the bright lights of Cusco. Hop on the train and ride back to the city, away from the magnetic heritage
of mighty Machu Picchu - a mesmerizing place that will leave an imprint on your soul!
Day 11 : Cuzco – Lima - Departure
After Breakfast, transfer to the Airport for your flight to Lima and Connecting Flight to United States of America. Hope you enjoyed your trip to the 3 countries in South America. Also hope you are taking along wonderful memories to share with your family.
Day 12 : In Flight – Arrive at Home or Next Destination
Reach home with wonderful memories of your South America tour.
