Tour this emerald island, Sri Lanka which has many golf courses. You will have sufficient time for site seeing and to play golf. Please change foreign currency in to SLRS at the airport after customs, there are many 24hrs bank counters at the airport as all these payments have to be made only in SLRS. No credit card payments are accepted at these historical sites. (Entrance fees are subject to change, rates are as applicable at the moment – Children under 12 years will be charged a half rate in some places.)

Sri Lanka visa charges, USD 35 per person for NON SAARC countries & USD 20 for SAARC countries, can be obtained directly via the internet please visit this site (http://www.eta.gov.lk/). The process is not complicated if you have any difficulty we could make arrangements for same too in 48hrs to obtain same if details are provided to us by mail. The process is very simple payments can be paid online & with the confirmation document print out & code you have to submit passport on arrival only. The passport has to be valid for six months from the day of arrival return air tickets & sufficient funds or reservations for the holiday should be with you. Children under 12 years travelling with parent’s visas will be free on arrival. All others have to obtain a visit visa except for Singaporean & Maldivian passport holders who will be provided free visas on arrival.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : AIRPORT / COLOMBO

Tour this emerald island which has many forests, plantations, vegetation, wild parks, nature reserves and most importantly the golf courses. You will have sufficient time for site seeing and to also play golf. There are three main golf courses in the country & you will be able to play in all three of them.

Arrival, welcome & assistance at the airport. Then transfer to Galle Face Hotel Colombo (colonial style hotel).

Morning relax, P.M. – visit the fascinating city of Colombo which links the past with the present. You will visit the Fort area which is the commercial center. Pettah, Colombo’s bustling bazaar area. Cinnamon gardens, which is full of large residences, Buddhist temples, Hindu temples & mosques. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 : COLOMBO / ROYAL COLOMBO GOLF CLUB

After breakfast prepare for a full day of golf at the Royal Colombo Golf Club. Transport to the golf club & back will be provided.
Day 3 : COLOMBO / NUWARA ELIYA

Post breakfast and then leave to Nuwara Eliya the center of the hill country. You can view waterfalls as well as lush landscapes with tea plantations and other vegetation via Kitulgala. Kitulgala was the filming location of the World War II movie,”The Bridge on the River Kwai” based on the novel by French writer Pierre Boulle.

Nuwara Eliya is the heart of the tea country located at a height of 1980 meters in the central highland of a tropical Island. Nuwara Eliya (City of Lights), also known as ’Little’ England’, was a popular hill station of the British who tried to create Nuwara Eliya into a typical English village. The old brick post office, strict formal dinner attire & the 18 hole golf course, race course all remind you of ’England’.

Rest and prepare for a day of golf the next day at your hotel!
Day 4 : NUWARA ELIYA / GOLF CLUB

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of golf at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. Transport to the Golf Course & back will be provided.
Day 5 : NUWARA ELIYA / TEA PLANTATION / KANDY

A.M. – After breakfast the morning is free, play some golf at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. In the afternoon/evening leave to Kandy en-route visit a tea plantation and witness the manufacture of the world famous Ceylon tea. Arrive at the hotel in Kandy. The center of traditional arts in Sri Lanka and visit the Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic of Buddha and view a cultural dance. Stay overnight in Kandy.
Day 6 : KANDY / VICTORIA GOLF CLUB

After breakfast a full day of golf on the Victoria golf course in Kandy. Transport to the golf course & back will be provided.
Day 7 : KANDY / MATALE / SIGIRIYA / DAMBULLA / KANDY

In the morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then leave to Sigiriya. En-route visit a spice garden and a batik factory in Matale. Climb the rock fortress, Sigiriya built by the patricide king Kashyapa in the 5th century A.D. Today it is a treasure-trove of rare art, a pocket of the giant rock is dedicated to the famous frescoes of the heavenly maidens of Sigiriya. Return to Kandy and en-route visit the cave temple of Dambulla. Some of the frescoes in these caves are over 2000 years old.

There is also a colossal figure of the recumbent Buddha 14 meters long carved out of rock. In the evening, visit the city of Kandy. The most popular landmark of Kandy is its lake, situated in the center of the city. Late in the evening, view a Kandyan cultural performance. Then return to the hotel overnight. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 : VICTORIA GOLF CLUB

After breakfast a full day of golf on the Victoria golf course in Kandy. Transport to the golf course & back will be provided.
Day 9 : KANDY / PERADENIYA/PINNAWELA/COLOMBO / MOUNT LAVINIA

A.M. – After breakfast, proceed to visit the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya which is well known for its large number and variety of plants, ornamental, decorative & medicinal. More than 4000 species include indigenous and introduced plants. This garden is best known for its collection of orchids which are the largest in Asia.

Then continue to visit the elephant orphanage at Pinnawela. This orphanage was established to feed, nurse & house young elephants abandoned by their mothers. Often the young ones fall into pits and ravines in their quest for water during drought period. In the evening leave to Mount Lavinia near Colombo where you may enjoy the beach. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 : MOUNT LAVINIA / ROYAL COLOMBO GOLF CLUB

After breakfast a full day golf in Colombo at the Royal Colombo Golf Club.

Transport to the golf course & back will be provided.
Day 11 : AIRPORT

Breakfast and then transfer to the airport for your return flight. Check out 12h00.
