Lastovo is the island of rich and turbulent history ever since the Roman times. After the the 2nd WW it remaines for many years a Yugoslav military and navy stronghold. During that period it was closed to foreign visitors. The decades of isolation left the mark on the island's life at the same time preserving it more than other islands. In 2006. Lastovo and its archipelago became protected Nature park.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : From Split to Lastovo Island

  Today you would travel on a ferry from Split to the island of Lastovo, the preserved park of Nature. The long ferry ride along the Dalmatian islands will offer you amazing views, and you will have plenty of time to discuss the program with the guide. You will arrive to Lastovo late in a day, depending of ferry schedule and spend first night in the village Ubli.

• Day 2 : Sea Kayaking Day

  Today we will launch our sea kayaks in the crystal sea and kayak from Ubli to Mrcara islet and along the north side of Lastovo to the little cove and village of Lucica where you will have dinner and stay for the night. Upon settling in the accommodation, we will have a short hike to the town of Lastovo where we will have dinner & tasting of local food. Overnight in Lucica bay.

• Day 3 : Sea Kayaking the Archipelago

  After breakfast we set out kayaking to the archipelago of islets off the east side of Lastovo and finally to the big bay of Skrivena Luka passing under spectacular cliffs of the lighthouse of Struga. When we leave your kayaks in the bay you'll walk up to the lighthouse to settle there and then stroll down to the restaurant in the bay. After dinner there's transfer to take us up to the lighthouse for the night.

• Day 4 : South Coast of Lastovo

  After the night at the lighthouse, we will continue exploring the south coast of Lastovo island. We will finish again in the village Ubli, where we spend the night, before returning to Split.

• Day 5 : Return to Split

  Today is our last day. After three full days of sea kayaking through beauties of the Park of Nature, enjoying its clear seas and spending the night at the lighthouse, it is time to catch the early morning ferry and return to Split where our tour ends.
