Northern Tour Package

Package Overview

Our hugely popular Northern Tour starts in Phoenix and runs from Saturday to Saturday inclusive. We will pick you up and drop you off at the airport. Take in the most breathtaking scenery Arizona has to offer. The Tour price includes eight night’s accommodation, rental of a Harley-Davidson and all entrance, excursion and activity fees throughout the tour, all you have to pay for extra are your flights to and from Phoenix, fuel, food and drinks. Two people can eat well for forty dollars, and with a tank of (gas) costing around ten (bucks), each day’s expenses are very low. Here is just a taste of what is included in the trip:

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Saturday

  The morning is free to do as you please. We will be picked up at approximately 12.00pm to go and collect our bikes. You will have plenty of time to have a look around the dealership and familiarise yourselves with the bike, and sort out the paperwork, etc. We will then ride back to our base hotel on relatively clear, wide roads to get comfortable with your bike.
  
  We will spend the evening at RUSTLER'S ROOST restaurant, in CHANDLER, where we will meet 'Horny' the Bull at the entrance! You can either walk down the steps when we make our way to the dining area, or put your 'Big Kids' head on and use the slide! Most of you will because it's great fun! A fantastic place to dine and have a great time, with live country music and lovely views of Phoenix and surrounding areas out on the veranda.

• Day 2 : Sunday

  We will be leaving Scottsdale at 8.00am after breakfast. Our first stop will be FOUNTAIN HILLS, then PAYSON, on to PINE & STRAWBERRY and a visit to the Route 66 town of WINSLOW then ride on to the METEOR CRATER, which is approximately 20 miles away.
  
  Today we will cover around 250 miles, stopping a few times along the way to take a break, re-fuel and relax, arriving at FLAGSTAFF Holiday Inn some time late afternoon.

• Day 3 : Monday

  We will leave FLAGSTAFF at around 9.00am. Today we will ride out to the GRAND CANYON, stopping at the TRADING POST, an amazing place with countless gifts, etc, to feast your eyes on! We will then travel to TUSYAN, near the canyon, where you will have your first view on one of the greatest 'Wonders of the World' on-board a HELICOPTER!
  
  At approximately 4.00pm we will head off to the pick-up point for the SUNSET JEEP TRAIL to spend a wonderful evening, ending up at the rim of the GRAND CANYON to watch the sun set in the horizon, which we know you will find fun, and absolutely amazing. 120 Miles.

• Day 4 : Tuesday

  Leaving the Grand Canyon for MONUMENT VALLEY today at approximately 8.00am after breakfast to spend a wonderful day exploring this amazing place.
  
  We travel back to FLAGSTAFF, where we will be based for the next 3 days while we explore the area. 380 Miles.

• Day 5 : Wednesday

  First stop of the day is the wonderful BELMONT (Grand Canyon) HARLEY DAVIDSON, where we would put money on the fact that you won't come out of there without a bag with some HD goodies, whether it be clothing, accessories, or even parts for bikes! Take time out to look at all the great items on display, as you'll save a substantial amount of money purchasing over in the USA than you would buying the same items back in the UK.
  
  On to famous ROUTE 66 town of SELIGMAN to view the town and the famous 'Rusty Bolt' gift shop. We then get back on our bikes and ride for approximately 45 miles, taking in mid-afternoon lunch at the well-known 'Cruiser's' Diner in WILLIAMS. Then we head back to FLAGSTAFF to our hotel. 156 Miles.

• Day 6 : Thursday

  You are in for a real treat this morning! We will be riding to OAK CREEK CANYON, one of the Top Ten rides in America, ending up in the amazing town of SEDONA. As you enter Sedona all the buildings and rock formations are that wonderful 'Canyon Red'. There are some excellent restaurants, cafes, shops and sights to see. After that we take a flight in a HELECOPTER over-looking the wonderful sights that Sedona has to offer. You will get such a thrill up there, certainly another experience you will never forget!
  
  The afternoon is free for you to explore the town until late afternoon, when we head off on the JEEP TRAIL. Our Tour Guides are excellent and are a mine of information about the area and it's history.
  
  We will then head back to the hotel in Flagstaff. 85 Miles.

• Day 7 : Friday

  This morning we head out at 9.00am for a big ride, taking in JEROME - PRESCOTT - YARNELL - PEEBLES VALLEY - WICKENBURG - SCOTTSDALE, PHOENIX. We cover THREE MOUNTAIN RANGES during our 230 mile ride back to our base hotel in Scottsdale, with many stops along the way to grab a bite to each, re-fuel, and take lots of pictures!

• Day 8 : Saturday

  Today is the day you try your hand at the GUN RANGE - another opportunity to try something completely different! After the Gun Range you will be ready for something to eat, before we head back to drop our bikes off and return to our Hotel. 20 Miles.
  
  The evening is free to do as you please, spent either doing your own thing, or enjoying a good meal and great company with the your fellow riders. The choice is yours...
