Barbados is a tropical paradise. Our fun-filled day begins with a scenic drive through the gorgeous green hills on the Eastern coastline of the island. We'll continue on to Welchman Hall Gully where you will see lush flora and fauna and unobstructed wildlife. This is a unique chance to observe mischievous green tail monkeys up close and in their natural habitat. You'll see monkeys at play, mothers caring for their babies, and older males keeping watch over their territories as they look for food.
Our next stop on this unforgettable tour will be the infamous Harrison's Cave, where you'll travel through the winding tunnels in trams and make your way into the specially lighted caverns. View the majestic stalactites and stalagmites, which have been growing from the floors and ceilings for many centuries. This incredible, crystallized limestone cavern is said to be one of the wonders of the world with its pure, clear water and peaceful flowing streams. You'll be amazed by the 40-foot waterfall that flows into a blue-green lake.
Now that we have worked up an appetite it is time for a delicious lunch at Pirates cove. After lunch we'll spend the afternoon on the water, enjoy a boat ride to swim with our friendly sea turtles, and enjoy a complimentary drink, as well as use of a beach lounger and umbrella, restrooms, and a freshwater shower. The boat has a glass bottom for a great sea view, as well as a waterslide! The choice is yours: swim, snorkel, or simply relax and soak up the sun!.At the end of your day in paradise, you'll be returned to your cruise ship or hotel.
