This trek follows little used trails through Gurung villages north of the Madi Khola valley.
We begin by the shores of Begnas Tal and trek through oak forests rich in birdlife and wildflowers to the pretty village of Siklish. There are few trekkers along this route and our leisurely pace allows plenty of time to meet the Gurung villagers and admire a way of life that has seen little change. As we cross over into the Pokhara Valley.
we are met with panoramic views of the eastern Annapurna, Lamjung Himal and the beautiful 'fishtail' peak of Machapuchhare. Our trek finishes close to Pokhara where we have a rest day by the lake before flying back to Kathmandu.
